In the dreams we give most of our education, and this has been known in most ancient cultures. The interpretation of dreams was earlier one of the tasks of the priesthood and in that connection people recognized the divine status of dreams. When rational thinking gained more and more ground, the importance of dreams was reduced, but the effect has always been there, and those who have got the permission to do so have used the influence. A dream can consist of many things, which are not so important, but it could also be a guiding-star for the consciousness. The guidance is often performed totally outside the consciousness, but the impulse is sent on to the appropriate layers in the human mind.
A simple and easily
accessible way for all personal development is to start working on one’s
dreams. As we use them as a help in our teaching one can find a lot of things
one has need of there.
Most commonly it concerns
an indication, which one can accept or disregard. Normally the dream is not
decreed by Fate, but should be regarded as a natural part of every individual’s
mental life. It is true it is a connection to the consciousness of others, but
their influence is only help to proceed faster. The personal decision still
always determines the actual course of events.
In some cases the dreams
have a different character, and at the very end when the contact between the
teacher and the person receiving the guidance is far developed, the dream will
be the gateway to a direct communication. At this stage totally different
opportunities for co-operation will open up in the joint project forming the
personal development.
