The message from Ananda

This is the first part of that which gradually will form a complete message to the whole of mankind. We have now reached the time when all prophecies will be fulfilled, all old promises met. The time of joy, which now is near, is impossible to imagine today but it will soon commence.

All journeys start with a short step, this one as well. Today something is going to take place that will be significant and influential for a long time ahead. The strivings of mankind will get a completely new aim and direction and a new era will begin. Each opening is difficult but the effects will gradually become visible. Let us just be heard again, and all can happen. Everything in the old prophecies will now be fulfilled. The Kingdom of the Spirit will be founded on earth and the hosts of God will come down for the last battle. It is not a war between brothers but a spiritual war that is near. Everything that previously has happened in the Kingdom of Matter now will take place in the Kingdom of the Spirit.

The joy at what is happening is so great here with us. Our efforts will be crowned with success and our great work will at last triumph. The road has certainly been long thus far, but finally we have reached the goal. The real work can begin. We are so anxious that the children of earth should have an opportunity to develop in the direction that has been preserved in their genetic code all the time. Evolution is indeed engraved on man’s innermost structure and it is inevitable. But one can of course struggle oneself against it or speed it up. The free will of man is always in command in the first place.

Man’s free will is a gift given by God in the creation. Without it everything would have been meaningless. But it also is something that has to be cultivated, steered in the right direction and this is what we term the Evolution. It is the fact that every individual should develop in his full potential, to what he was meant to be.

It is a great truth that every soul going down into an incarnation has a special mission. It should develop in order to take an additional step towards the final goal that has been defined all the time. To be allowed to join with the Deity in all its glory. An association that ultimately aims at giving man a divine status, if it is possible that this can be understood from a terrestrial point of view.

To be one with God involves having access to the divine store of knowledge and learning. This may appear as a small part of what one can believe it means to be divine. But this is the key to everything else. To know is to have the ability. Knowledge without faith is in turn only corruptibility. Knowledge will come to the one who is ready to receive it. It is sent from the Divine pastures down to the children of earth, and they only have to open their minds and receive our gifts.

We really want to give all we can and we are constantly striving for everything to improve, to be increasingly in harmony with the Deity. But improvement can sometimes wrongly be taken for deterioration, decline. Still, a big crisis in the history of mankind always has involved a change, something of great importance and necessity has happened. Historically all crises were of benefit, they signified necessary purging and changes.

Today the crisis is not on the material level but on the spiritual. The spiritual hunger, starvation, can be traced all over the earth. In the behaviour of the masses there is such a great hunger for spiritual enlightenment that it now expresses itself in something which really can be interpreted as an illness. People are so mislead in their spirituality that they have lost all judgement in this area. One clings to any self-appointed master. The individual inner rule is missing and because of that one seeks external support from different types of authorities all the time. But now is the time for humanity to grow up.

We want every individual to reach his full potential, and it can only happen using his or her own, inner way. The way the great Masters always have talked about. Not to slavishly obey certain external decrees, but to find one’s own confidence and strength by really knowing oneself. And how should this happen? You must be aware of that this is a very long process, something that will take many human lifetimes to fulfil. But at the same time, every moment of each lifetime is important for this process to proceed. One should not tremble at this thought, because human life as such is the best school for spiritual improvement. Each step ahead makes a basis for the next, and each step, however simple it may seem, is necessary. To be one with the Deity means to become one’s true self.

We are all meant to be perfect in the meaning that we then are fulfilling what is programmed in the genetic code. But every soul also has its unique duty in the great work. Each and every one is important, yes invaluable, for everything to become as it once was intended. This implies that all of us have an immense responsibility for other people and for ourselves. We must not waste the possibility of development we have got in the ongoing incarnation. We can never know what our duty is in the present situation and what we have to learn during this step, but all possibilities of development are given to us by the circumstances we are placed in.

There is a loving will, which is always concerned about the best for everyone. You will not always get what you want, but you should always be sure to get what you need. It is a great truth that we should humbly accept what life has to give us, as we then get the best benefit out of every gift. Everyone knows how difficult this can be, but all of us also know that we perceive the whole in quite a new way when we look back on what has happened. In the middle of a situation, the courses of events are experienced as unconnected and without mutual consistency and meaning. But the big picture is completely different. Everything has a meaning. The smallest, seemingly random phenomenon can bring about effects for a long time ahead. What happens in everyday life always is the best training, because life is knowledge. In life the knowledge is built-in.

Deep inside we always know what is best for us, but if we don’t have the inner strength we will never manage to choose the best way for us personally. To build up one’s strength and independence must be everyone’s duty. This is certainly happening more or less automatically, but we can also choose to open or close ourselves to different types of influences.

If we listen to what we innermost know is right, we can guide our own development and in this way we can advance faster. The day one has total contact with this inner voice one also has total freedom. Then, nothing external can disturb the inner development any longer. One will instinctively know what it is meaningful to devote one’s time and life to. One can prioritize without hurting those around, and one will know when it is time to change the direction of life. But a lack of inner contact gives confusion and often leads to physical illnesses and problems in the long run. It may seem hard to lay the responsibility for health on the individual, but it is everyone’s duty to take care of body and soul.

But you also know that crises and problems are gifts to help you go forward. A physical complaint is often a message about something being wrong in your way of life. Of course there are more or less random courses of disease, but the body is an unfailing barometer for mental health. “A sound soul in a sound body” is an age-old truth that can sound obvious, but which in fact contains a deep truth. If the soul is healthy, so is the body, and vice versa. Every action that hurts the soul also harms the body, and when the body is hurt the soul will suffer.

The soul is the part of a person that is indestructible, but this does not mean that it is invulnerable. A soul can be tyrannized and hurt, tied up in bonds and suppressed. But the soul could also been seen as the innermost being telling us what is right, if only we listen to it. It has access to all wisdom, and a soul that is allowed to fully express itself in the body is perfect.

The body is the dwelling-place of the soul and its dearest property. But if you deprive the soul of the control over the body, it will become homeless and unhappy. It will help itself if it gets the opportunity, but if external circumstances disturb too much, it will be deprived of this control and physical illness will be the consequence. To know oneself and to listen to oneself is essential for a happy life. It does not mean to listen to the smallest whim that the ego expresses, but to really bring forward what is deepest in man and to let that govern all that happens.

One can always find oneself but it is a heavy task. There are no short cuts, but the whole development must be run through. But everyone has taken each step, and everybody will sooner or later walk the way to its end. It is true we all are on different levels but we must have humility and hope. The humility to understand that we all, no matter how far we have come, once stood at the beginning and hope that we all, no matter how far we have left, one day will reach the goal. The goal is that the self should be allowed to burst into blossom in full freedom, and at that point we will also be ready for the next step of the cosmic journey. Karma has had its day and the personality can be shed for what is eternal.

We cannot really understand this until we stand there, but nevertheless we have to work towards the goal. And the knowledge exists, it has always been proclaimed but we have been very reluctant to listen to it, because the work required does not give any immediate reward on earth. At heart we all know the truth but layer after layer of dust-dense matter-constellations conceal it. The truth wants to work its way up, but it is hindered by all the experiences the person has accumulated during its way on earth.

This may seem strange, life on earth is in fact a necessary school, but it means that the experiences must be worked on, be transformed in an improvement process. What seems to be something bad must be transformed into something good. What is a bitter experience must be changed into a success. Hate has to be transformed into love. All work in the domain of the soul consists of such transformations. The soul is the true alchemist, and if it is allowed to work in freedom, it will transform lead into gold, worthless matter into invaluable riches.

How this can happen actually is a great secret, but the time has come when we can reveal this wealth of knowledge, which until now has been hidden in a few enlightened persons’ consciousness. Now the time has come for the large masses to get access to these invaluable treasures. Not until one has acquired this knowledge, can one reach the goal. And now this is going to be transferred to the large group consciousness, to the whole population of the earth. We always take the long term, but now and then we allow a greater step forward, and this is such a time.

We have always taken part in the development of earth, but until now this has been completely hidden to most people. Today however, we are prepared to start to appear more openly, to give a more direct guidance and education. We cannot allow the development to go on as before now is the time to give our children a more direct help on their way towards perfection.

Ananda

The Way

Every human being will sooner or later come to a point in her development, where she wakes up to awareness of who she really is and what her goals are. This has nothing to do with worldly efforts and short-term maximizations of the personal pleasures, but is on quite another level. Suddenly, much of what everyday life can offer loses its attraction, and the mind is turned in quite a new direction.

When this happens it means that the last stage of the long journey towards self-fulfilment has begun. How long this stage is and in what incarnation it eventually will be finished, is entirely hidden from the individual. But one can be sure that a hard and long-lasting work has begun, but it can also be hastened in different ways. How this is going to happen is not a static truth. It varies from person to person and from time to time.

Still, every attempt in this direction is carefully noticed, and to a possible extent we also send help on the way. The ability to receive this help varies from case to case but can always be developed. By training the intuition and psychological abilities, one can open the channel and receive this help more and more. It is a very close co-operation between the recipient and the teacher. This is a relationship that is developing and it will be active in life after life. One will not get information about who or which one’s teachers are other than in very rare cases, but their influence is always there and it is of similar nature no matter who is the leader. It consists of influences, which in general are very subtle and completely unknown to our consciousness.

But the work takes place on levels where reason no longer is in charge. In the first place this is the case during sleep. In the dreams we give most of our education, and this has been known in most ancient cultures. The interpretation of dreams was earlier one of the tasks of the priesthood and in that connection people recognized the divine status of dreams. When rational thinking gained more and more ground, the importance of dreams was reduced, but the effect has always been there, and those who have got the permission to do so have used the influence. A dream can consist of many things, which are not so important, but it could also be a guiding-star for the consciousness. The guidance is often performed totally outside the consciousness, but the impulse is sent on to the appropriate layers in the human mind.

A simple and easily accessible way for all personal development is to start working on one’s dreams. As we use them as a help in our teaching one can find a lot of things one has need of there. However, we will never impose upon the free will and therefore, in general one cannot expect the guidance to appear in plain language. Thus, one really has to strive to learn the language we use in this case. Exceptionally the guidance can still be given more or less directly and actually in certain cases en clair, but then it is a sign of a very high and well-developed influence, and here the nature of the teaching is different.

Generally we use symbols and allegories, and a major part of the education is about understanding this language of symbols. In a way this is a universal language, but it cannot be transferred to simple rules for dream interpretation. The context is much more complicated. But a person, who has penetrated this language, has got a royal road to personal development. Suddenly one can understand and react on happenings with reference to one’s own situation, and can act accordingly with a much higher confidence than one would with only the external facts to rely on. Every time one succeeds in an undertaking as a result of having trusted the information from the dreams, one will of course be strengthened in faith and will continue to search for this type of information.

In general, there is nothing harmful in trusting the dreams, but as with everything else it requires knowledge and understanding. Above all you need knowledge about yourself and your own reactions and understanding of the type of guidance that is performed through the dreams. You have to realize that it only is help and not something that directs the actual course of action. If you regard a dream as a prophecy or a firm prediction, you will generally be wrong. This kind of dreams also exists but is much more infrequent.

Most commonly it concerns an indication, which one can accept or disregard. Normally the dream is not decreed by Fate, but should be regarded as a natural part of every individual’s mental life. It is true it is a connection to the consciousness of others, but their influence is only help to proceed faster. The personal decision still always determines the actual course of events.

In some cases the dreams have a different character, and at the very end when the contact between the teacher and the person receiving the guidance is far developed, the dream will be the gateway to a direct communication. At this stage totally different opportunities for co-operation will open up in the joint project forming the personal development. In such cases the influence can be extended to other persons, and a community is formed, which can be an effective driving force for development also outside of the individual. The person can be used as an instrument in the work to lead the world and mankind forward. A channel has been opened to a more direct transfer of learning and knowledge.

From the beginning of time inspiration has been seen as something given by the gods, and in many cases inspiration has its source in a direct connection between a person and his or her teacher on the other side of what is seen in the outer world. The connection between us here and you cannot be too strongly emphasized. We are here to give you help and guidance, and everything that facilitates this contact is good. Every attempt by a person to use what we are offering will help her forward towards a greater closeness to us and to increasingly direct access to the knowledge we provide. To develop as a human being is very much about developing this relationship to those who are guiding. Of course one develops through all relationships to other fellow-beings, but these relationships seldom have the same purpose as we have, namely to guide man on the way towards happiness and self-fulfilment.

Some people experience this relationship more easily than others and are more aware of the fact that we exist and can be of help. These are of course people who have a closer relationship to their teachers. The utmost goal is that man and his teacher should be able to exist in full symbiosis with each other. It is in fact a mutual relationship - both benefit from what is happening.

On the earthly plane the connection primarily means help and guidance, but on our plane it is a part of our self-fulfilment. If our adepts develop and make progress, so do we. This could appear strange, but everything has a close connection. If a soul is developing, it also strengthens the souls that are connected to it, no matter on what plane the others are. We really have a mutual mission; it is not a one-way relationship.

If people realized their own great importance, they would respect life in a completely different way. A life in the body is a gift you should not waste. The possibility for development that life offers is a gift beyond words. Irrespective of how the external conditions are set; the internal development is equally important. Nothing achieved in the material domain is lasting; the varying circumstances of such are completely unimportant from our point of view. But how man takes care of the gift he has received in his body and soul is of the utmost importance. To misuse one’s body, to poison one’s own mind and that of others, is a sin towards the Whole. It is to abuse a divine gift.

We love you irrespective of external circumstances, but we demand that you - as far as you can – try to make use of the opportunities life gives to you. It is not easy to understand this, and during long periods of the evolution cycle it is not a problem. At that point it is the life in the body, which is to be understood and developed. But as soon as one has reached a level of consciousness that means that one understands one’s responsibility, one must take it on. Then one cannot blame others any longer for what one encounters, but one has to understand that life is a task one has accepted and that one is entirely responsible for the results one achieves.

One should not allow others to control one’s life anymore, but work to make oneself free from those things that prevent the development. Uncontrolled influences from other sources belong to that category. No one needs or should really expose his inner to what is unhealthy. It is certainly sometimes a lack of judgement, but someone who has got a part of the way has to be his own master and be able to control what he admits into body and soul. Of course one can live under oppression and be forced to receive things that are harmful, but this is still an exception. Often one silences the inner voice and consumes everything that comes in one’s way without even considering if it is of any benefit.

Our influence decreases in proportion to how much one stresses body and soul with other things. All has to be balanced. No doubt information is of good, but if it has turned into a sheer speculation in violence and sex for instance, then it is directly harmful. What you absorb in your mind always gives effect. There is nothing there as mere entertainment; everything affects those who receive the information. You create patterns in your mind and programme it for attitudes, which you in all probability would have liked to avoid if you had been aware of it.

If one wants to strengthen the contact with us, one has to take the time and space on one hand to listen to the inner voice and on the other hand remove things that obstruct the contact or make it more difficult. This cleansing can be very difficult to perform, but it is always possible to find methods to work on your own attitudes. It is an important part of personal development to educate oneself. To learn discernment, learn to safeguard oneself and to actively try to cleanse the body and mind. We are not speaking about asceticism or any extreme attitudes at all, but about the seemingly simple art of living in the life without allowing the external conditions to rule without thought. In theory this is of course simple, but it is a very big part of the development of every individual.

Before being able to control one’s body and mind, one should not try to exert an influence on others at all. This of course demands a great insight into oneself, but could also be helpful to avoid bad influences. Never let anyone, who has not the insight to take care of the gifts he has got in life, rule over you. The truth is that very few people are suited to rule over their fellow men. Most people are on earth to develop and one does oneself a disservice if one put one’s trust in someone with the sole task of developing himself. There is a natural desire in man to seek support and guidance, but the secret is of course to find the right support and the right guidance. And as always the way is to go through you yourself. It is a lonely road but it is absolutely the quickest and safest one.

The Evolution

24/8.

The best thing that can happen to a human is if he or she can get in contact with the entity guiding her destiny. This contact contributes to the personal development to a much greater extent than what otherwise would have been the case. The development can take place in many different ways depending on what areas need developing in each individual. But it is a common quality in all evolution to aim at the same goal; the creation of a perfect human being. To be perfect can seem to be an unattainable task but it is nevertheless the true goal.

There is a mission decided for each and every man, that is designed to as much as possible facilitate this development towards perfection. Every human should know this mission in its proper context. The goal of every life is not to maximize the worldly pleasures but to develop and go forward as a human being, because every person has a mission that is unique.

That which is given to him or her will be delivered to its full extent when the time has come. A new step is not taken before the time is ripe and that one has to be aware of. Otherwise the natural rhythm is disturbed and instead of progressing one remains on the same spot. Consequently it is very important to let the time act and the development happen without to much intervention.

We who are guiding really know what’s best for each person and we are concerned that you should develop as intended. Time is always working in our direction even though human beings have a problem to understand that. Their perspective is so vastly different from ours both concerning space of time and mission. One would think that everyone should know his or her task without difficulty to make everything run as smoothly as possible. But that would be too simple to really facilitate development. Instead it is strife and struggle that is the proper gift. Through all hardships that a life always contains, even if these are varying from person to person, the personality will be strengthened and the person purified.

From our point of view a hard life should always be rewarded with a fast development in some important area. It can seem to be a big sacrifice to receive pain with gratitude but if one has reached that far one is in many ways almost a perfect human being. Anger and sorrow are natural feelings but a feeling of acceptance of the Divine Will should follow these emotions to really make the lesson work. We allow different kinds of trials to fall upon different people but nobody will escape them, because you are all on earth to develop.

Your faculties will grow and it is best happening when they are hardened someway in battle. It is most commonly a battle with one’s own ego, one’s own will. The will is so important to make the human being go forward but it also has to be disciplined under a greater will. Our wills should work in concord and harmony to allow for the greatest possible development. If this is not happening, the human will be lost and miserable.

Not to be in concord with the higher Will is the greatest cause of human unhappiness and sorrow. When one is working against one’s true nature and true mission one is always working on an upward slope. One feels the misfortunes more and experiences oneself as misunderstood and maladjusted. This should not be interpreted as if everyone should work directly in the service of God but every mission is equally important regardless of character.

When one finds the true way, whatever this now means to the person in question, one experiences harmony and happiness. To allow oneself to be guided by outer phenomena and what other people think and believe, is in general leading to disharmony and unhappiness. And it leads above all not to the intended development for the person in question. How can one then find this harmony and concord with the higher Will?

Inside every human being a soul lives that basically knows the requirements of this life. We all have the knowledge inside us regarding what is right for us personally. But this knowledge cannot be reached without personal development and work. One has to make efforts and be prepared to meet with misfortunes. The path is not easy but it is the most important work a human being has to do, the work to find his own truth. The truth is inside you; it is an old truth and it is eternal, as eternal as life itself.

Every time a beam of truth shines forward through a human consciousness we have reached success in our work. Every time the Divine is demonstrating itself to a human, he or she will receive an insight that is of use for the rest of life and often also in lives to come. We are working on a very long term but every success in this aspect presses the journey on towards the goal.

You humans seldom can see how your path of life steadily carries you forward towards a long-term goal, but you can be sure that this really is true for each and every one of you. You can not survey the length of the way or what mile-stone you have passed, but you can still always be sure that we are there with you and are helping you forward in the best possible way. Suddenly a glimpse of satisfaction and joy reveals that you are on the right road but this is usually succeeded by new hardships, but then you should know that it is time for the next step forward.

We really choose with care to make sure the experiences of life should strengthen you in the best possible way. Even if the outer circumstances of life are calm and secure there are always misfortunes of various kinds and these are always chosen to give the greatest possible effect and the fastest possible progress. If only you could reach the assurance that still everything aims at the fact that you finally will triumph at the goal, everything in life on earth will be experienced as much easier. But often one feels as if unfairly stricken, instead of receiving it gratefully in the assurance that it was sent by a loving parent.

We are really working as parents trying to help our children forward in the best possible manner. Not by cuddling them and by removing every stone in their way but by letting them grow step-by-step towards an increasingly greater maturity and understanding. A wise parent allows the children to make their own experiences but under controlled circumstances and with a view to their security.

We are working in the same way but in a larger scale. By experiences in life leading the person forward to increasingly greater maturity, the stock that can be seen as food for the eternity also grows. This stock, sometimes known as “storing in the barns”, is the true result of a person’s life. One cannot bring anything else on the journey, but this collected spiritual knowledge that the person carries with him is lasting eternally.

What is then spiritual knowledge? It is such things that for the uninitiated may seem strange and sometimes even dangerous. It is about faculties not only of use in earthly life, but that also will be useful in the next existence. Life always goes on even if the ongoing incarnation is shed. One goes ahead towards new lives and new experiences. People should always have this long-term perspective. The current life is of course important, but there will also be new lives and new experiences. Every event in the present can in fact give far-reaching effects in other lives. As one sows, so one reaps. This old truth can never be underestimated. What one stores away now can always be of use later.

But it is only some special faculties and capabilities that are of this character. They are of an origin that is not terrestrial, and they will be used in a non-earthly context. The major part of all knowledge and abilities acquired in an earthly life is perishable. Only very small fragments are stored for later use and the gathering in a rucksack totally filled with necessities for eternity, is a very long and hard process.

One should not be depressed over this thought, nobody knows how far one has reached on this way before one is standing at the goal and at that time the way bone has wandered will be perceived as short and easy. The goal is worth every hardship and every privation, but life also always brings good moments. We are carefully balancing how hardships and rewards are distributed and nobody should feel without rewards in life. It is not about outer satisfaction but our rewards are to be found in a calm and harmonious mind, in love for fellow-beings and nature. They are found in all beautiful things that your world offers to you in every second.

It is an old truth that the sun shines both over good and bad. Everyone is allowed to take part in our rewards even though they may not always have strived in the direction we have advised. But of course there is a strong appeal in this, one has to try to do one’s best in every given situation. Every person has a big responsibility for himself or herself and towards his fellow-men. The journey is not easy but the person who fights will also be the fastest and this is the greatest reward in itself.

A wasted life is a sorrow for us trying to help you and the damage done takes a long time to repair. Not only does one delay one’s own development but one also hinders and hurts others that are connected to oneself. These others are not only in the terrestrial life but they can also be found in other worlds, in other dimensions. Our mutual efforts also harvest mutual rewards and punishments. Not punishments in the old sense but punishments by way of hindering and delaying development. We will talk later about how this is done.

But every human being nevertheless has a huge responsibility to fulfil. One has to try to work on one’s own development and progress to the greatest possible extent. Let us think together about what this implies. To begin with, one can never blame others for what one suffers. One can be sure that what happens has a higher meaning and that one has created the conditions for it by oneself. Not always on the practical level but by behaving in a way that started the chain of events. And as said, this could have happened a very long time ago.

The truth is that everything happens for the best in the long perspective. In the statement “whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap” there is not only rewards but also a request to repair the damages one has caused. This obligation can take a long time to come into force but it will happen sooner or later. One is put into the circumstances that best allows one to redeem one’s debts. It will not happen through punishment but through one developing and coming into insight about the relationships that exist.

One has to learn one’s lesson before one can proceed. Sometimes it takes many lives but it can occasionally happen fairly easily. It depends on the person’s ability to assimilate what life is offering in the form of lessons and education. Every experience must be seen in this light. Nothing comes over a human being if he or she does not need it in one way or another. Big world catastrophes should also be seen in this light. It is partly because they always have an underlying cause and partly because they give humanity necessary lessons. The big events are of course the most effective because they create experiences that a larger part of humanity needs and may benefit by.

Every human should consequently give the greatest attention to his life. In life there are many crossroads built in, but if one is sensitive and watchful one can begin to see the underlying patterns behind that which happens on the surface. Every external event can be understood in the light of personal development and life becomes much clearer and logical if one succeeds in acquiring this vision. At the same time this understanding is a prerequisite to being able to guide one’s own life and do what is right in each particular case.

There are no objective criteria when man decides on an issue in his life, but everything has to be related to this underlying structure or plan for life. If one is aware of this, everything becomes much easier because everything gets a meaning. A meaningless life is terrible. If life was but a random phenomenon, there would be no need to strive. Everybody knows deep inside that life has a meaning; this is what makes it possible to endure all hardships. If one did not know that there was a goal, one would naturally succumb to the smallest setback.

But this knowledge is not conscious, it is written in the driving forces inherent in life, in the urge to breed and in the fighting spirit. In everything that makes a human being human. And if this insight is stimulated, is made conscious, the human being suddenly becomes much more purposeful, more secure and more optimistic. Then one can suddenly cope with all that life offers because one knows that it has a purpose and is justified in the current situation.

Every time such an insight is established we rejoice because we have then received an active collaborator in our work. It is a human that can do his part of the work and by that help him self and us to progress faster. Thus this connection between the human being and her teacher thus is active through all lives and of the utmost importance for making everything happen as intended. We do not allow someone to wander on his way without giving that person all the guidance we possible can. But what form this guidance will take is depending on man’s level of development.

A small child has to be clearly shown the way by his parents and it is the same in this case. If a person is immature, it may take very powerful indications to make him or her understand our purpose. When the person matures our guidance becomes subtler because the person’s sensitivity for what is advised from us, and what is other outward or inward phenomena, increases.

We can always change the way we are communicating with a person and we do that from time to time to broaden the person’s range, to help him or her to extend their powers. We let every human grow in his own pace and towards his own goal. Outwardly the life path of two people can be similar, but in a higher perspective their mission in life can vary immensely. Hence, one should never judge another person or have opinions about what he or she does. The humans do not know anything about what is hidden in other people’s life plan. One thing that someone knows perfectly, another person can have a long way to achieve. And still these could both have similar success on the surface.

Our lessons are not learnt outwardly but inwardly. We can understand what is necessary for the next step from the inner development of man. We try as much as possible to make things easier but man has to learn from his own experiences. One never receives anything for free and it requires active work to gain access to what we have intended with every experience. The further a person has reached in the development, the more easily he or she can profit by these experiences, understand the lessons.

This is because in this case one has a spiritual stock of experiences to fall back on. Earlier one has had many similar experiences that have left traces in the personality. These traces of earlier experiences create a maturity that makes it possible for the person to continue and advance rapidly. This is not something that can be noticed in outward abilities but a trained person can see it in the way the human meets different types of events in life. It is about the ability to handle one’s life, how stable one’s own equilibrium is.

The whole development, the aim of the evolution, is to obtain this ability to handle what one meets in life. If one has this ability one can go ahead in the assurance that one is well equipped for the future. But most people still have a lot to learn. They may see themselves as highly developed because they have succeeded on the surface, but if the inner world is not in harmony they still have a lot to learn.

We do not let anybody go through life without testing every step. Everything that one encounters contain this type of test of the personality. If one fails in one test one will sooner or later meet an experience that strengthens the abilities that need strengthening. There is such a great wisdom in this system. It is true that every human has her own free will but she also needs help to develop and refine this will.

As experiences build up during different lives one will be able to use one’s will in a more and more intentional and effective way. If the will only is used to gain short-term benefits one can be sure it needs strengthening in a way towards a more long-term use. If one is using one’s will to the disadvantage of others one will be forced to learn to understand the feelings and sufferings of others through one’s own bitter experiences. At the same time as the struggle can be harder for people with a strong will, it is our aim to go in this direction. If the will is both strong and well disciplined it is a tool that is of priceless value to the own development and to make this as quickly and painlessly as possible.

How then can one strengthen and discipline the will? As always there is only one way and it is through one’s own immediate experiences. Of course one can actively strengthen the will but in that case it will often happen at other people’s expense. But through the experiences given by life one receives the proper training. It takes a long time to chisel out a personality and every little step may seem to lack a connection to that which is the real purpose. But put together all experiences form the lattice through which the true personality can become perceptible.

Life on earth should always be seen in this light. It is the experiences that give meaning to the journey. Without experiences that one transforms into knowledge, life is wasted. We are not talking about the most spectacular events in outer sense but the small steps that together form the whole journey. This means that no experiences in the earthly domain should be scorned. Every type of experience is necessary, bodily, mental and spiritual. The whole spectrum must be run through and the order the development takes of course varies from person to person.

Still it is the phenomena of the physical world that normally are mastered first. But this has to be matched by a corresponding mental and spiritual maturing. Every level contains in itself a picture of the complete human being, although on a reduced scale. This means that the evolution is a spiral development, every turn contains in itself the whole development but on the current level. All qualities have to develop in balance and harmony with each other. If the development would go faster in one area, it has to be stopped until the others can catch up.

This is often felt as an injustice because one naturally wants to develop in the area where one has reached the furthest, but to put a stop to this is in the long run a very wise system. If the personality is allowed to develop in imbalance for long, injuries that take a very long time to repair can occur. Because of that we are particularly watchful that some abilities do not get the upper hand and develop at the expense of others. This does not only happen in one lifetime but of course over the longer perspective of several lives.

If one faculty should need to be stopped in its development, it is done through creating circumstances that instead are developing other aspects of the personality. If one bows to this and accepts one’s lot one will also faster reach a balance as a whole. If for example the physical abilities have taken the upper hand, circumstances in this or the next life will be created that makes it impossible to still keep the focus on this area, and by that forces a development in other areas.

This may seem cruel but it is in reality a concern for the greater development. It cannot be disturbed by this imbalance any more; it is time to straighten out the course. We never do anything to harm and is there no cause we do not take action. If a human being truly knows herself she instinctively senses what areas need strengthening and she looks for circumstances where this can be done. Such a person does accordingly not primarily look for what is easiest for him or her but is actively working to strengthen weak sides in the personality.

When the person’s strivings and our own work in the same direction everyone can understand that the effect increases immensely. The person feels greater and greater confidence in what he does and is gradually strengthened in his strivings. Every time this happens we increase our efforts because we can see that there is a fertile soil to work with. Every small, outwardly insignificant effort in this direction is noticed by us and actively encouraged through dreams and premonitions. Even though the effort does not lead that far, the intention is still noticed by us.

To be a fertile soil is so important. If one is opening up and receiving all that is given, one will also progress faster. Our guidance is sometimes given through outer phenomena, but primarily through what is led into the mind of those we are working on. If one is receptive to what is led in to the mind, one is a fertile soil for our work. It is always important to create conditions to be able to receive our guidance. This is done by giving oneself time, peace and calm to listen to one’s inner and also as we have mentioned, to work with one’s dreams.

If one succeeds in developing the ability to sense us, one has an unrivalled help on the way forward. What we give is totally adjusted to the recipient and cannot be compared with other sources. The person who has learnt to draw from our deep source of knowledge has received an unsurpassed gift. We are guiding our children with such a great love and understanding. Nobody can compete with our general view and knowledge.

In itself a human life is so short that one never can reach the necessary store of knowledge. We are always stepping in and trying to strengthen and develop the person even though he or she is not seeking our support. If one succeeds in opening up to our influence the effect is of course greater. Our messages are received more purely if one is conscious about the process and actively seeks this source of knowledge. Every time one succeeds in interpreting our message and can see in one’s own experiences that it really was true, one is naturally strengthened in the conviction that this is the right way to find support.

25/8

In every age there have been people wanting to reach further than what the general public has been aiming at. These people have always been met with mistrust and fear from those around them. What to one seems to be simple and natural can be something frightening to other people. The reaction has often been persecution and violence of various types, but in some cases one nevertheless succeeded to bring the knowledge one step forward.

To these people the occult area was nothing scaring or unknown. To the contrary, they regarded it as the science of the gods and used their knowledge to promote humankind. The great teachers in the history of the world have always been receiving from this rich source of knowledge.

The road is not a simple one, but if one seriously starts the journey one can reach unparalleled success. It has of course led some astray, there is nothing in your world that cannot be misused, but to the majority the knowledge has given them a contact with the highest wisdom.

The great teachers of the world, Jesus, Buddha and others, all had this type of knowledge. Without it they would not have been able to reach as far as they did. We always try to encourage people seeking knowledge in this area because it is here we can get in the best contact with you humans. Hence it is necessary to be humble before this science. It can give rich results but one also risks large failures. There are no wide margins to play with when one takes these powers in possession.

Of course we try as far as possible to pave the way so that no mistakes can happen but the human nature and will generally has the greatest importance. If one does not want to follow the right way, we cannot intrude upon this manifestation of the will. Therefore it is of the greatest importance that adepts in this area have been trained not to misuse our gifts. We have to be absolutely sure that we can trust him or her before we allow the individual to take another step ahead. It is true we have great power but the law nevertheless states that the free will of man has to rule in all circumstances. Without it, certainly no real progress is possible.

To become a true adept in our service one therefore has to give up worldly appreciation and fame. Our gifts can never be used to feed the ego in any way. One always has to have the desire to use them to the benefit the great Whole in some way or another. Usually it is improvements done to make the human bank of knowledge grow. Normally there are not any spectacular great strides taken in this type of work. But usually small steps forward in the service of evolution. Each of these steps is a victory for us and we are acting around the earth to make this work advance. We allow our gifts to shower down over humanity in the hope that some small crumb will be picked up and used to the benefit of mankind. Every such occasion means an increase of the human store of knowledge.

The occult practice has wrongly got a negative stamp put upon it; people have a picture of evil powers being used. But this is wrong; the occult practice is always in the service of the good. We use our considerable powers to jointly reach a goal of some kind together with each adept. We do not allow our sources to be used to obtain worthless or harmful knowledge. That which happens is always on a higher command.

On such occasions it is always the adept’s own guide who is active from our side. He or she is of course leading the protégé on as safe a path as possible. If one cannot be sure of a successful ending, the attempt is interrupted for the time being and one is waiting for a better opportunity. In spite of that, there is of course an occasional failure, but one always tries to find a new opportunity to resume the teaching. Because this is definitely a question of teaching.

This is a training of the faculties a human needs to develop to be ready for the next step in existence. On earth these faculties are really not necessary, but they are needed to prepare one for the next existence in the cosmic reality. Each time a human being develops master-ship in the occult area we have got an indispensable co-worker in our mission to bring humanity forward towards the great goal to unite with the All. Naturally this makes this progress so immensely important but it is always hard to achieve it.

There are so many obstacles in our work. These are partly inherent in humans as fears and prejudices, and partly as obstacles that persons around create to hinder such a development. During long periods each step forward in such a direction was associated with danger for life and limb. The persecutions were violent and our work was very difficult indeed. We tried to implant our knowledge in your minds but it was practically impossible to reach any success during those days.

Today it is even more difficult because rational thinking is such a great hinder to this progress. Every time we start to get some kind of success we find that the humans’ own means of protection come into force and shut us out from further progress. This does not necessarily mean that our work is done in vain, but it makes the work much harder and more time-consuming. Rational thinking has its given place in terrestrial circumstances, but it does not function in the spiritual work. Rationalism has rightly reached great success, but everything has its proper place.

In the Kingdom of the Spirit other laws are valid than those on the physical plane. There one has to be open and inquisitive, searching for new knowledge and truths. One cannot allow the free thinking to be limited by all sorts of old conceptions and opinions. A free soul can do great progress but all sorts of restrictions on body and mind prevent the soul’s free exploration of the spiritual areas. You would really never place these restrictions on yourselves if you knew what great progress you could achieve in this area.

But as always one has to be prepared for what is going to happen and the maturing of every individual is an enormous long process over many lives. If one allows this maturing to happen in the best way and pace, one will sooner or later reach the level where these kinds of faculties start to develop. This is nothing one should search actively for; when the time is right we will make sure it happens.

All childish attempts made in this direction can never reach real success, but a searching made on a rational basis, which is with a starting-point in a correct level of maturity, will lead to some kind of progress. Not always, or maybe even very rarely, the types of progress the individual himself wants to reach, but types of progress that match the current needs of the adept. These needs differ from case to case and from time to time, but they always include some kind of spiritual development.

The spiritual area is hard to understand if one is not well on the way in the development, but it could simply be described as all that is going on outside of the physical and mental spheres. The Kingdom of the Spirit is inside of you, and the way to reach it is both long and hard, but once let into this kingdom the true development of the human being can begin. In any case one is now a good step on the way towards the goal and our efforts can start to be more purposefully aimed at developing knowledge in this area.

Every human who has crossed this threshold finds it painful and hard as all new paths are experienced, irrespective of field. We are trying to make this entrance as easy as possible but it always includes suffering on the physical or mental level. If one has not gone through this suffering one cannot count on lasting progress and generally one has only scratched the surface of something that one in fact cannot fathom.

It is a truth that all development includes suffering and this truth should not be despised. If one only is looking for the roads that are easy to travel and give instant satisfaction one cannot count on great progress. We would like to give giant strength to all humans, but we know that these forces in many cases would be used in a totally wrong way and with totally wrong results. Hence this development has to take place on our terms and under our supervision.

If someone reaches a level where he or she can start to work more actively in the occult or spiritual field, we have normally made sure that it happens in a way that is safe for all involved. Not safe in the meaning that it is free from difficulties of different kinds but safe for the long-term development of the health and growth of the individual. It is important to remember the perspective of time here because what in the short run may seem to be failures or backlashes could mean great success in the long run. When we are talking about the long run; we always mean a perspective over several lifetimes.

One human life is but a short parenthesis but still the development goes on in life after life. This knowledge should give the humans the strength to look up from the heavy problems of the present and give confidence to the future. Everything that happens has a meaning, and what one is exposed to in the present may have great importance further on the way. We do not allow accidents to happen haphazardly, all have a meaning, but it is not always possible to grasp it in the present life and the person who is afflicted will perhaps never understand it. The important thing is that the effect we want to achieve really gets the opportunity to bring the human being forward in one aspect or another.

We are always pleased when a person takes the step and actually starts working in the spiritual, occult area. It is true those lacking understanding have connected this to black magic, but to us it is the most fruitful field we can work in. Here we have access to instruments that otherwise would have been impossible to use. We can have an influence in a much more direct way and it is of great use and joy both to us and to the individual concerned. In your world every progress in this direction should be rewarded instead of punished.

In this field one works in direct communication with one’s leader and it is a great grace to be given this opportunity. Every time the channel between you and us are opened to some extent we get a possibility to influence earthly events more directly and it is of great use to all humans. Our voices are nearly always unheard, and when we get the rare chance to communicate with you it is a great celebration for us.

We really want to have this type of communication because the world’s welfare and long-term development is our great mission. But we always have to work through representatives; you have to do the direct work in your world yourselves. What we can do is to train and develop your abilities but you yourselves have to use them in the intended way. Your own direction of will plays a crucial role here. Nothing happens if you are not interested in making it happen.

The will also has many levels or areas where it is active. An important part of development is about extending the will to act in even wider fields. The most primitive will is connected to the most personal and it could mistakenly be confused with egoism. But this will is a necessary prerequisite for the survival of man. One always has to take responsibility for oneself, choose the circumstances that are good for oneself.

It is not until one consciously uses the will to gain advantages at the cost of others that the will is blended with egoism. But this requires a notion of what is right and wrong and this is not built into the most primitive will - the instinct for survival. This will has to be developed before any other development can take place. If one lacks the instinct for survival, no other aspects of life will get space to develop and grow. The struggle for the daily existence will be so overwhelming that one simply has no strength left for anything else. But as soon as this fundamental will is in place it will take command over the basic functions and at that point there will be room for the consciousness to work on other levels.

Thus a strong instinct of survival is a basic condition for all other development. This force may seem cruel and crude, but it is of fundamental significance to all life and it should definitely not be despised. It is, like life itself, a gift from God. Life on the planet earth is an excellent school to strengthen and develop the instinct for survival. It is true it can seem to be a cruel and tough world but it has been designed to strengthen and develop this vital force in the best possible way. Without it, life will be extinguished and new and better-adapted life forms will take over. This is the law of nature and it is very wise.

Everything that is not capable of surviving by its own force is being replaced by something that is better adapted. There is no mechanism that can better support the necessary evolutionary progress. But what is dominating on the lowest, most primitive levels also has to be supplemented with other mechanisms on a higher level. For example, compassion and love have to develop, so man can approach more and more what he was meant to be; the true image of the Deity. This is the whole driving-force behind the evolution, the fact that man increasingly will approach the Deity.

When development has come so far that the basic skills have been acquired one can also get room to develop spiritual faculties and powers. But everything depends on each other, no step can be skipped and no step is more important or more “holy” than any other. Life is holy, it is a gift from God but everything else is just a means to develop this life to greatest possible perfection. All steps have to be taken; all cycles have to been run through but it all aims at the same goal. All has its full justification in the earth system.

Every step in the development process of life is holy and no aspect should be despised or oppressed. Everything a human receives is a divine gift and no aspect is less important than the other. A rich life is a life in balance. To let everything grow and develop as it is intended. If one oppresses some aspect, physical or mental, one also violates this divine balance.

A life in harmony is a reflection of a body and a soul in harmony. Harmony is nothing one can reach through outer means but it is entirely a quality developed in the innermost self. The ability to find beauty and love in the smallest and seemingly most unimportant event or phenomena is a sign of inner harmony and this is a joy and wealth in life. But this harmony cannot be reached without all aspects having been developed after their own prerequisites.

If one allows one particular aspect to take over, harmony is surely disrupted. Cultivating the body at the expense of the soul or the mental faculties without taking the spiritual aspect into account, will lead to imbalance and in the end different kinds of illnesses. To allow material aspects to guide one’s existence to one hundred percent gives no development in the spiritual field and leads to different kinds of deficiencies.

A lack of empathy and love for fellow-beings and for the earth we are living on, is a symptom of an underdevelopment of the spiritual field. But a corresponding over-emphasis of the mental life at the expense of the physical life is equally pathogenic. The body can never be treated as a slave, it is man’s friend and companion in life on earth and it should be respected as the fundamental prerequisite for mental and spiritual development.

We do not leave any aspects of human life without noticing them. We try to create the best possible conditions for physical, mental and spiritual development for those we have in our care, but as always man has to co-operate in all areas. We cannot rule, only advise, but sooner or later the circumstances will be shaped in a way that allows for an individual’s neglected aspects to be lifted to their proper level. Every step forward has to be compensated to make sure that the total harmony is not disturbed or developed in a way that is out of balance.

When we have reached a closer contact with an individual we can facilitate this balancing in a more effective manner. We can help the individual strengthen the intuitive faculties, and that will make him or her more capable to read and correct the own balance. The person will become increasingly better in distinguishing what is right and good and will through this create better and better conditions for the own future development.

Intuition is the most important mental faculty a human owns. It gives him or her the ability to read levels of reality that are unreachable to rational thinking. One will get a greater correctness in one’s own judgements because one is able to take in information that is inaccessible to the superficial layers of mental capacity. Rational knowledge is of course good and an unavoidable necessity in a personality, but if not completed with intuitive faculties it is basically useless.

All great scientific improvements have been made through the combination of intuition and science in a fruitful way. Pure science is in itself infertile and pure intuition can lead to delusions, but together they form an unbeatable combination. The scientific field has brought humanity forward in all ages and it is a necessary result of the evolution. Increased consciousness and growing knowledge are used to lead humanity forward. But if science is allowed to act without intuitive qualities, it will inevitably lead to stagnation.

All the time new impulses have to be led in from the spiritual field to make a true progress possible. With the spiritual field we always denote the influences we can bring down to humanity. It is not about religion or faith but is totally connected to the source of knowledge and wisdom we can draw from to promote the future efforts of mankind. All can be fetched from the Divine stores; you should not think that man is capable to create something completely new by himself; all has its source in God.

The human mind is all too limited to what it knows and cannot by itself create genuine new learning or knowledge. True renewal always has its origin in knowledge fetched from the Divine stores. These are not open to everyone without training, but if one wants to, one can also always get what one needs to fulfil one’s mission in life.

Thus scientific and other progress has its basis in spiritual knowledge, to the extent that it really is true progress. Otherwise one can always combine existing knowledge in new ways, to make it look completely new to the uninitiated. But this is no real breakthrough, only a part of the necessary development of knowledge already known. All has its own time and all breakthroughs have to be followed in time by assimilation and adaptation. If one is not able to bring this assimilation to a level where the new is forming a natural part of humanity’s bank of knowledge, one cannot expect new breakthroughs in the area in question.

We do not allow knowledge to be known when humanity is not mature enough to receive it. But we are now standing in front of such a breakthrough of knowledge. The ground has been prepared since times long ago and humanity has at last reached a level of maturity that allows us to make this knowledge known. And today it is a question of a breakthrough in the spiritual field.

Humanity has largely reached the point at last that makes it mature enough to receive our messages. We have worked towards this for such a long time and the foundation is solid, and because of that we will not fail now when the time finally has come. This is a work that has been carried forward on many fronts and with many good forces involved. We are all working in the service of the Lord and our greatest wish is that our offerings will be received by as many as possible.

One cannot understand what effects this work will give in the future, when one as one does today, stands at the very first beginning of the phase when it is shown in bright daylight. But we are aware that this is a work over a long period of time even though we as said, are standing in front of a greater breakthrough. But as everything else this new knowledge will have to be spread and accepted into the minds of man.

The difference today compared to earlier is that science has reached further and created tools that can be used to spread information in a way humanity never has experienced before. This is an example of how different areas have to develop in harmony to make the great Whole proceed to a better state.

Our efforts will be crowned with success and this is a great joy to us. Every step forward for humanity at large also means a step forward for us leading the humans. This connection is so close and sincere and is building on the greatest love-force permeating all in the Universe. When we can let this love flow out over humanity in a more effective and direct way we have also taken a great step forward.

Our efforts have been hindered by the ignorance of humans, but if their senses can be opened we can also work for their progress in a much more direct way. We allow no paths to be untested and now we have really made an effort to break new ground to the benefit of the development of humanity.

This is truly a great day for humanity, the fulfilment of all prophecies stands before the door. He who sacrificed his own life to gain eternal life promised never to leave the side of the humans and he has kept this promise. But the humans could not receive him. Their sensitivity and attention were not developed enough to allow them to feel his presence. Their capacity of love was not sufficient to enable them to receive him. He was working all the time to be able to reach them, but it is not until now that this work has been crowned with success. Not for the majority of humanity but for some humans it is now possible to come into contact with Christ again. He is the saviour of the whole earth, the high Master who has received the responsibility to bring the children of humanity back home to the original source.

We are all working together to make this mission successful. There is no such thing as different Gods for different nations. God is one and his power embraces the entire Universe. It is true that saviours do emerge in different countries and times but our gifts are always meant for all human beings.

There is but one truth no matter in what earthly disguise it is presented. All attempts to obtain the power and ownership of the truth by force will sooner or later be punished. The Divine might is so great, it reaches far beyond what humanity in its folly can apprehend. The attempts made to conceal the truth will be punished and it will always show up again. But the time approaching on earth contains a freedom and peace never seen before. The warriors of the Lord never fight on the earthly plane, in the outer. They act in the field of the spirit to free the souls and bring them home to their true dwelling-place.

We will succeed in our intentions and the humans supporting and facilitating this mission will be rewarded. Not by earthly means but with knowledge from the Divine stores. Now it can at last be told what the treasure consists of that one can win by struggling along the spiritual way. It is to enjoy the Divine love in all its splendour. If one reaches this, one is for the first time complete as a human being.

In all earthly strivings there is a feeling of dissatisfaction, of being incomplete. For short moments one can get a glimpse of what one is missing, usually when joined to a partner in a great love. But as soon as the ecstasy of love is over one is as incomplete as before. The Divine love heals this lack, joins what is divided into a wholeness. Nothing on earth can be compared to the feeling of being one with the Deity. Every earthly relationship is but a faint reflection of this all-embracing love.

To be allowed to join the Deity is the goal of every human’s journey through the ages. When one enjoys the sweetness of the Divine union one can as a human be sure of standing at the end of all earthly struggling and that the next existence is forthcoming. The Divine love heals all scars and all injuries so that the soul can proceed in the form it was intended to assume.

Every person has his own individual way - but the goal is one and the same: to be united with God in love. This may seem trivial but a person who hasn’t reached there cannot have a conception of what it really means. This is nothing that happens in an existence beyond the earthly, but can and should be experienced in the final stage of life on earth, before the next existence takes over and the long series of earthly incarnations are at last interrupted.

26/8

When man first realized his place in creation a long evolution started that in no respect is finished in present day. Every step on this long way has been guided by us and watched with the utmost love and attention.

It is the consciousness that differentiates the humans from the animals and gives them their rightful position in the history of the Universe. But this consciousness also creates demands to make the most of one’s talents. Every step forward implies a greater responsibility for oneself and those surrounding. Every failure becomes greater with more far-reaching consequences according to how far one has reached in the evolution-chain. The collective consciousness and responsibility is constantly growing and nobody can disclaim his or her part in what is happening.

Even if one is not actively taking part in a course of events, the passivity in itself means taking a standpoint. Cowardliness and inability can be excused on lower levels, but if a human has reached a certain level of development she has to take on her responsibility both for herself and others. This responsibility does not imply that one should influence other people in an undue direction, but that one through one’s own example points in the right direction.

To be just implies allowing others to develop in their own pace and trying to make their way easier by all possible means. All interference in another person’s life should be regarded as a violation, if not done out of pure love and consideration. If one is given the power to influence others, one also has the obligation to do it in a proper manner; that is with a consideration for what in the long run is to the best for the other person and not to the gain of one’s own benefit.

The old rule stating not to do to others what you yourself not want to be exposed to thus could be seen as a complement to the fundamental rule that one is never allowed to hurt another human being physically or mentally. How difficult this can be everyone is most certainly aware of. But all the same, one always has to strive towards this goal, never to consciously hurt another human being. If one has reached far enough to make this a truth incorporated into the consciousness - one has come a good part of the way towards true humanity.

The wisdom is built into each and every one of us, and in our innermost we all know that this is a great truth, but all too often the circumstances allow for egoism and short-term thinking to prevail. In every human there is a strong urge to protect the own ego and there is nothing wrong in that. But this care for oneself one has to complete with the care for the well-being of other people in an equally high degree.

To develop such a consciousness takes a long time and requires many bitter experiences. Only if they themselves have been exposed to other people’s oppression, can humans learn compassion and consideration. One must have felt the bitter stings of the arrows fired from fellow-beings one-self, to be able to hold back one’s own arrows directed towards others. If one knows the pain of being hurt, one avoids exposing others to similar experiences as much as possible.

A lot of what takes place in a human life has this background. Every setback has a corresponding need for development and comprehension. If one chooses to see one’s experiences in this light, it is possible to find one’s own areas that need developing, and then one also has a help to go forward faster in the learning-process. If one is totally unable to understand why one is struck by various misfortunes, one is also unable to gain experience from what is happening.

It is true it takes an enormous effort to learn to deal with the experiences of life in this manner, but if one has reached that point, one has opened a royal road to self-understanding and fast progress. These experiences do not need to be big personal misfortunes, but instead everyday life all the time offers a lesson in self-development and self-fulfilment. Every relationship contains the seed to a lesson in life-knowledge, no matter how insignificant it may seem. If one receives these lessons without judging or condemning, one has opened a great source of self-insight.

And this really is one of the main tasks a human has, to learn to know oneself. All humans think that the person they know the best is oneself, but this usually is a misunderstanding. The own self is to most people an unexplored continent. One judges others from one’s own reactions, without knowing that the own ego is filled with complexes and blockages. If one is unaware of this, one cannot actively work on dissolving and changing such blockages either.

Once one has understood this, one also can understand that one’s own reactions to various events and persons are based on totally subjective phenomena of the own inner world. Each time one reacts with disgust or hatred, one can be sure of having come across something of similar quality in oneself that one is unconscious of. Such strong feelings demonstrate a discrepancy of what one believes is reality, and how it is really. If one allows these kinds of feelings to guide one’s own behaviour, one can usually be sure of acting erroneously. If one allows others to be affected by the things one is burdened by oneself, one has certainly not done one’s homework thoroughly enough.

The lessons of life aim in the long run to teach one to know oneself and one’s own behaviour, and to learn to control oneself to avoid negative effects. If one allows emotional and intellectual prejudices to rule without actively trying to counteract and dissolve them, one is not using the possibilities of development that life offers. The key to real development is the active work on one’s own personality. The possibilities for that work are inherent in the person’s degree of self-consciousness and self-knowledge.

The better one knows oneself, the greater the possibilities are to actively try to improve the personality. The greatest achievement a human can do is to work with oneself in this way, because one also influences others in the same direction then. Like attracts like, and if one has reached a certain level one attracts others on a similar level of development, which gives everybody a better possibility of further development.

Mutual efforts always are more effective than isolated attempts. If one allows others to decide over one’s own development one will not proceed, but mutual work on equal conditions can be very fruitful. Love and harmony in a group of like-minded souls is a breeding-ground for many good things in this aspect. There are not always visible results from an external point of view, but in the deeper levels of the mind there are processes constantly going on with the goal of self-development. Contact with people with similar aim and direction as one’s own speeds up these processes.

Already in childhood most people can feel this spiritual affinity, and one turns instinctively to people who can help one forward in this aspect. Every time one meets such a kindred spirit one can feel the joy and satisfaction of receiving from this joint source of development. It is of course good to seek out different situations and different kinds of people, to bring this possibility of development to as high an extent as possible. One can never know in advance what kind of situations that will give the possibility of meeting such kindred spirits.

If one has prejudices concerning people having different value, this effectively restricts the possibility to develop. If one has these barriers of the mind, one will of course not discern the deeper qualities of the people one meets. Sex, age, race etc. are only categories hiding the fact that everyone that one meets basically has the same human strivings. If one accepts that other people have the same value as oneself, one also acquires a greater understanding of the fact that, which on the surface may seem like differences, only is something that conceals the same basic qualities in all human beings.

What everyone without exception longs for is love and confirmation. If one takes this as a guiding-star, one can appraise the behaviour and reactions of other people in a way that increases the understanding of them and of oneself. The yearning for being loved for what they essentially are is common to all people. To be accepted exactly as one is, is a happiness that only too few are allowed to experience.

External demands and the experienced expectations of other people often force people to take on an outer personality that badly fits the person they basically are. If one is unable to show one’s true self, one cannot count on being met in an adequate way. All kinds of discrepancies between the outer and the inner selves, lead more or less to unhealthy behaviours. Making these pictures of the outer and the inner identical, and thus bringing them together, leads to a greater feeling of wholeness and meaning.

If one lives on the surface without knowing one’s own inner landscape, one cannot of course do this work of bringing together the different levels into a whole. If one always reacts to what other people are projecting on one, one can never get a true picture of oneself. Other people’s thoughts and opinions are their own property and one can never use them as a standard for oneself.

One has to find one’s own inner truth in every part of life, both outwardly and inwardly. To allow others to guide one’s own life is to do oneself a big disservice. In the long run it results in one losing the feeling for what is right and wrong and one turns into a victim of the forces moving in the collective consciousness we are all a part of. If one succeeds to stand free in this respect and build up one’s own standard of what is right and what is wrong, one becomes a more useful member of society and a happier individual.

To know one’s own position in various matters, gives a greater degree of tolerance in the long run. Because then one can compare other people’s opinions to one’s own, and thereby create an understanding of what qualities and conditions are guiding respective standpoint. If one always relies on other people’s opinions, one cannot understand the background of what is said, and one becomes intolerant and condemning. One has to choose a certain standpoint, and if the selection is not based on a sound confidence and self-knowledge, one has to defend the standpoint through external facts, that by necessity are shallow and oversimplified.

To create a sound basis to stand on is the best medicine against prejudices and misconceptions. If one is unable to resist the pressure from other people’s opinions, one becomes a victim of the often obscure currents moving in the bulk of opinions presented through mass media and various kinds of propaganda. If one allows one’s inner world to be invaded by such outer phenomena, one can never build up a stable personality. And this is nevertheless the goal of development, to create a personality that is whole and strong, that can lead man towards the goal of being capable of controlling his own existence and life.

If one allows other people to be at the helm, one never knows where one will land. If one is steering the boat oneself, one has the total freedom to choose course and destination. This does not happen in the short term, but one gradually builds up this personality. It is done in co-operation with others but not in accordance with the great mass movements in the collective consciousness. To be independent of these kinds of influences is characteristic of a free and strong human being.

The road of the masses by necessity leads towards standardization and generalization, and it is not a path that leads towards personal development. Each human has to learn to know his unique conditions, and one has to understand and be humble to the fact that both me myself and others have their unique destination and purpose of life. We are all basically alike but the path we have to go differs from person to person. Through actively searching one’s way forward, one will also be led on the roads best leading towards the goal.

Laziness, to allow others to direct the journey, can lead to losing the course for a long time ahead. But one should also be sure, that those guiding every human sooner or later will see to create such conditions, that are leading back to one’s own path of development.

It is important to be sensitive to the signals life offers, to be able to hold the right course in life. One always gets help on the way, and if one is open to it everything is made easier. To train and develop this sensitivity of course takes time, but most of all it demands that one listens to one’s inner and seek guidance from what one has inside of built-in wisdom and knowledge. All humans have this knowledge, but the capacity to profit by it varies from person to person.

To give oneself time and space to listen inwards and to train this capacity of self-insight and self-understanding is of greatest importance. If one only lives superficially all the time, this capacity is reduced more and more, and in the end one lacks independence, becomes a victim of everything outside of oneself. But if one trains one’s inner perception through introspection, one can count on also becoming more and more aware and to acquire a better understanding of others.

To understand oneself also leads to the understanding of others. If one does not understand oneself, one cannot understand others either. The first obligation of every human being is to learn to know oneself, and then one will also become a person that is of use to others. The level of self-insight indicates the development-level of man. Thus the work with the own personality is fundamental for personal development.

One can never save others until one has saved oneself. This should be a basic principle both when deciding if one should try to influence other people in their development, and when one meets self-appointed saviours and gurus. If they have attained a high level of self-knowledge and self-insight one can always be sure of their ability to help others. But if they are not ready with their own inner work, one should not take their advise as truths, but understand that they are mere reflections of another person’s subjective world and values.

What is objectively true in your case is something that exists only inside of yourself. The big secret and the big work is to uncover this root of truth from all the stratifications of the self’s experiences, that are covering it. This work is something one is not able to do until all basic steps of development have been gone through. If one has not reached this stage one is not mature enough for this work. But as soon as one has reached this level, one can be sure that we actively give our help to try to hasten the development and make the work easier.

Humanity at large has not until lately reached a stage when this work can take place. Individual efforts have always been possible, and some time now and then a soul has reached perfection. But to most people this goal has been far out of reach. This circumstance is now changed. Quite a number of humans have come to a point where they can start this essential work of bringing forward the pearl of their hearts, letting the soul shine through in all its splendour. The unrest and the searching going on all over the world is a token of this. And many people can intuitively feel that the spiritual way is the right one. But they have no idea of how to find this way.

Still, the truth is the same today as ever. The pathway goes through man himself. We are there ready to receive his prayer for help and we have the necessary tools for every man’s development. But one has to seek the way by oneself. One has to make an active choice and choose to prioritize one’s own spiritual health. This can of course be done in different ways depending on the current situation but it always includes a decision to only choose what is good for one’s own development and to abandon all other things.

Life is finite and time limited in every incarnation, it is necessary to give priorities. It is true that one is always given new chances, but the individual who has started to discern the way also rather wants to make it as short and fast as possible. The means to shortening and speeding up the work is to establish a stable contact with the one guiding your own destiny and development. This contact can never go through any other medium than you yourself.

Each human has such a loving parent, who wants to help him or her forward, and if one is able to use this possibility, one has an unrivalled partner in the work of bettering oneself. The way to do this is to silence all other voices so as to allow the inner voice to be heard, but of course this is not that easy to achieve. But it can be done through laborious work. We are always here, waiting and longing for the humans to be willing to take contact with us.

Trust and a belief that we really exist are the fundamental conditions to establish a contact. We are always here, but you have to want to reach us. We encourage every small step in this direction with all strength. If one has established this belief or certainty about us really existing, one can then gradually develop the contact towards more and more clarity and powerfulness.

But this contact can only be established in silence and tranquillity. All everyday problems of life have to be shut out. By emptying the mind from everything of that kind, one opens up to our voices. You cannot count on us making us known by straight talking to everyone, but our language speaks to the depth of the soul and it still gives comfort and guidance in everyday life. To communicate with us is a source of renewal and reconstruction, and if one does not give oneself this opportunity, one wears out body and soul. Every such contact is a remedy to the strain of daily life, and the need for this is built into all humans.

We belong together and we need each other. Without us the humans wander in a hopeless desert and without the humans we are incomplete. Our great mission is to help you forward and our most cherished experience is when a human being opens up to us. Every contact of this sort or channel that is established is a step forward on the road towards the great brotherhood. We will really be united to each other some day; this is a truth that is valid for all times. We are longing for you and our love is always reaching out to you even though you are not aware of this.

If one is able to understand the fact that we exist and that we love you, one also has a prospect of self-realization and healing. Our love is the medicine that heals the wounds caused by all experiences of life on earth, and we do not want anything else than to be able to pass it on to everyone in need. If one can open up and receive this medicine, one can start one’s own process of healing.

Nobody can wander on the earth without being affected by such things that cause permanent injuries. But before the succession of earthly wanderings can come to an end, these damages also have to be repaired. This is a work one has to go through to be pure enough to be able to go on to the next existence. It takes a will-power of great proportions to pass through this cleansing but the means are the simplest imaginable. Love unites all and heals all. If one allows love to get a footing into one’s being, it will also drive out all evil. Love and forgiveness are the two cardinal virtues that make everything possible. Without love all is meaningless.

Love is the virtue that slowly develops during the evolution. First the love for the things that are closest, oneself and the nearest, and eventually a more all-embracing love. The power of love is the strongest thing in the Universe and it makes everything possible. Without love there would not have been life. Love wants to be manifested, increased and it wants to grow. It strives towards unity and a connection with the All. Love is the basis for everything, not only on earth but also in the whole Universe. Without Divine love, nothing would have existed. All that has to happen is happening out of Love. Love allows everything to grow in its on pace, towards its own goal.

The human love is but a reflection of the great, all-embracing love, but the goal is to let it grow and get increasingly closer to the Deity. A human being who has developed this all-embracing love inside her can be one with the All, one with the great Love. Every step forward towards this goal is holy. The final goal, to be allowed to unite with God, is the greatest thing in the Universe. The path of the human beings always aims at this goal, but the better part of the way this goal is hidden to their conscious self.

The soul is striving and yearning for this union, and from this longing the driving-force to go forward in the development is created. If one does not allow the development to go towards this all-embracing goal, both body and soul are hampered and suffer. It is a great wisdom in the fact that the goal of the evolution has not been revealed until now. In the early stages of humanity’s existence on earth, it was important to lay the foundation for this development. All stages of life on earth have their own justification and all steps are equally important. One cannot skip a single step to reach the goal quicker, but all experiences have to be lived through.

Still the first great revelation of truth came 2000 years ago. Jesus Christ was the first to experience this union with the only One in full, and he tried to convey the truth to his fellow-beings.

But this is a truth that is incomprehensible if one has not gone the whole way, reached the goal. But nevertheless, it has to be made known. It is not until now that humanity has reached a stage, where it to some greater extent can hope to reach the goal relatively soon. To make the last part of the way easier, one has to get an idea of what the journey entails. The wonderful truth can never be fully understood in advance, but through having a glimpse of what it is all about, one can intensify the efforts and progress faster.

Let us help you, open yourselves to our wisdom. We are the Brotherhood that during immeasurable times has guided the development of earth. Our existence is separated from the terrestrial, but we can also take a closer part in your development if necessary. Our great mission and dearest occupation is to help the children of the earth to progress. We love you as a parent loves its child, with a love that requires nothing for its own, but only looks to the best development of the great Whole. If we are able to facilitate existence on earth in some way, we will also do so.

Our work is done with time-perspectives unimaginable to human understanding, but we are in a way unbound by the limitations of time. Still we cannot override the law of development stating that everything has its time. Everything has to be allowed to develop in its own pace and towards its own goal. We can only create the best possible conditions to facilitate this.

When we make our efforts we cannot work directly on the earthly plane, but we use instruments and representatives for our work. The earthly frequencies are all too heavy to allow us to stay in them, but we can influence indirectly through those who have risen to a level where we can meet them.

The eternal part of a human being can under fortunate circumstances be made so free that it can meet us on a plane where we can exist together. We do not allow this to happen if the co-operation has not a higher purpose. A human can never come into direct contact with us by himself, but it can only be done if it also is our wish that it should happen. If one as a human being has this contact, one can be used as an instrument for the improvement of mankind as a whole. In that case one can be used in a way that is more effective and powerful than what usually is the case. We are rejoicing when this happens because it makes us more efficient in our work and enables us to do more good on earth and faster than otherwise.

Such an instrument is a valuable gift to humanity and to develop a personality that enables this way of working is a long process. It embraces a large effort from our side and it is a great favour to be the chosen one. But this advantage from us is also matched by big obligations for the person in question. One has to have developed a large number of qualities that are not so easily found among the children on earth. Above all, the work has to be about the greatest possible humility. If one is not humble to this process, all efforts are stopped. Someone who uses our powers for selfish reasons is of great danger, and this will not be allowed to happen.

We always allow our instruments to grow in peace and tranquillity. Every step of their development is carefully tried, and the value or carat of their character has gradually to be refined. Their development does not differ much from that of other people, but certain faculties needed for the contact with us, have to be developed step by step. This does not happen in one single life, but it is a development on the long term. Normally faculties are developed in one incarnation and then give way for the development of new faculties in the next. What one has learned is only included with the most necessary essence in the luggage one brings into the future.

But when it comes to these instruments we have mentioned, they can develop faculties that are brought along more or less intact in life after life. These faculties can lie unrecognized in one life, but as soon as the circumstances allow, these faculties show up to their full extent. Normally we do not create these kinds of circumstances. But if it is necessary, we do not hesitate to use an instrument with this kind of faculty, which is already fully developed. Every incarnation gives a unique challenge and a unique possibility for growth and development. To most humans, the natural environment and the challenges of life are enough to make the development progress as intended.

For a small number of people though we have a different purpose with their development. They are formed and chiselled into beings able to facilitate the development for a greater part of humanity. These are no simple tasks, and we create circumstances that to a greater extent than normally strengthen these people. In order to make them as strong as possible, suffering is a part of their life-way to a greater proportion than usual. The fact that strength has its roots in suffering is something you can be certain of. Everything a person passes through makes imprints on the personality, but suffering is the greatest teacher.

Suffering and love, those to a human mind often incompatible qualities nevertheless are intimately connected. It is only from suffering that love can be developed to the full extent. It is not the task of human beings to inflict suffering upon each other; there are certainly enough situations during the different lives that involve suffering and trials. All of our instruments have been exposed to this experience, and it is the foundation that we build upon. It is only through suffering one can feel pain and through that build empathy and understanding for other creatures. Suffering, and to that connected forgiveness, are the experiences that allow love to grow and increase with time.

28/8

Every time a human seeks contact with something inside herself, without really knowing what she is looking for, we take the opportunity to establish a connection. This can happen in different ways, but it always basically implies a contact between the human being and her guide here with us. Once when this contact has been established, then we can use it for the best of that person, primarily to speed up personal development.

The first thing that normally happens is that the human is awakened to some kind of awareness of God. How this awareness appears, differs from person to person, from time to time and between different cultures. Yet it is basically the same phenomenon confirming the person’s connection to the Deity, namely a feeling of being guided and protected in the daily activities. The person gets a feeling that there is a higher Will behind all that happen and that everything is happening in a meaningful context.

If a human being has reached this insight, we can begin to lead her more actively forward on her way towards perfection. The road can be very long, but we have nevertheless jointly taken an important step forward. In the next phase we can begin to establish a closer contact by the human being opening her mind and making herself more and more susceptible to our influences. This does not happen immediately, it extends through several lives. But if one once has reached this insight, it will emerge more and more easily in future incarnations.

When the development of the spiritual field accelerates, an increasingly greater part of each life is devoted to the task of developing spiritual faculties. These faculties evolve in an interplay between all that is happening in life, and is nothing to be seen separated from other tasks the human has taken on in a life. Spirit and matter act together, and they cannot in any circumstances be seen as separated from each other. If one aspect is underdeveloped, the other will also not be able to grow to its full extent.

If one takes a leap in the spiritual development, it implies that the physical and material existence also have reached a higher level. This may seem strange to people that want to see a contradiction between body and soul, between spirit and matter, but no aspect can be developed at the expense of the other. If one is unable to realize this, one cannot expect a rich spiritual flowering.

The body is the dwelling-place of the soul and it has to be developed into its full force to be able to embrace a manifestation of the Divine life. For long times this truth has been hidden, the body is the dearest plaything and most valuable vessel of the soul. If one does not respect the body, one cannot count on the soul to develop as intended. Everything in the existence has a meaning and a connection to God, so also life in the body. All humans should thank God for this gift every day. To be allowed to live a fully adequate life in the body is the very best preparation for a life in the next existence, beyond the earthly. This should not be hard to understand. Life is given by God and all life should be honoured. Everything has its own time and the life path of a human being is a time for growth and development.

You should understand evolution in this way; one develops in terrestrial life to eventually take the step over to another form of existence. But one existence is not separated from the other. They have a close connection, and life on earth is to humans a necessary precondition to be able to continue the development. This means that life on earth should be honoured as the greatest gift a human being can receive.

The body is the prerequisite for this life, and it is designed to give all the experiences necessary for the proper development of man. The body and the senses it is equipped with, have a higher significance than just giving earthly satisfaction. The body is a necessary condition for the development of the soul in matter. The body is nourished by the soul, and in turn the body nourishes the soul. If the body is not treated with reverence, the soul will suffer. If the soul is not allowed to grow and develop, the body will suffer. These two are chained to each other, and with the proper conditions they can also help each other to a happier life.

That body and soul have a close connection one can understand from the fact that physical and mental illnesses are so closely related. Sleeping disorders, headaches etc. are physical symptoms of a suffering soul. Mental suffering also follows physical traumas and illnesses. Every disease has in fact this mutual connection to body and soul, even if it is not directly evident to an untrained eye. But the person who starts to see this connection, can consciously or unconsciously influence his bodily/physical and spiritual/psychical health in a much more direct manner than one who is unaware of this connection.

By cultivating body and soul in a conscious manner, the way to spiritual development is open to anyone who wants to enter it. If one dissolves the body’s stress, the soul will get greater freedom and room for development. If the soul gets nourishment and prospects of renewal and development, the body will most certainly feel better. The medical science’s narrow-minded emphasis on one or the other aspect has for a long time been an obstacle to a real insight into what health is.

Without a body in balance, one can never get a healthy soul, and without the soul singing, the body can never be in complete balance. Every measure taken in one area gives results in the other, desired or undesired. If one is able to support physical health, one also gives the soul a chance of recovery. And if the spiritual development is promoted, then the body will also profit. If one allows the connection between body and soul to get its rightful importance in the mind, one will never allow one aspect to be over-emphasized at the cost of the other.

Activities that feed both body and soul promote the life and development of man in the best way possible. If one or the other aspect is neglected, the activity can actually be harmful to the health of the individual. In many cases the physical activities are over-emphasized but it is equally harmful not to listen to one’s body and allow the spiritual aspect to dominate too much.

An ascetic way of life has its value, but only to the extent where the body is not hurt. The joys of life should be received as the gifts they really are, and not be rejected in an erroneous idea that one becomes holy or that one stands on a higher level in doing so. If one has not integrated and lived through all aspects of life in the body, then one is not ready for the next step in the human existence.

Love and sensual pleasures are prerequisites for a spiritual development. Love is the nourishment one has to gather and put by in the Divine stores, to be able to make the last journey towards self-fulfilment. The intention of all life is that one should be enabled to collect heavenly manna. If one does not have body and soul in balance, one will not be able to manage this important task. In the end it is not the human relationships that give this nourishment, but they are necessary preconditions for being able to collect love from the Divine source in the middle of the Universe.

Through loving oneself and one’s fellow-beings one is trained also to love God. Through loving one’s body and the pleasures it can give one learns to love one’s soul and realize that it is a part of the great, all-embracing love. The road goes from life in the body to a Divine existence where the body with all certainty has been shed, but where the sensual experiences one has had earlier in the body can be reused and refined to a higher value.

Sensuality is a necessary condition for spirituality.

A necessary path towards spiritual maturity is the gradual development of bodily senses towards an increasingly greater sensitivity and refinement. To mortify and harm the body never leads one forward on the spiritual way. Self-denial, in the meaning of learning to control one’s physical sensations and desires, is on the other hand a necessity for true spirituality. One has to learn to move the main focus from what is impermanent to what is eternal, without losing the lessons learnt on the way. All experiences have a great value. Nothing in terrestrial life should be despised, nor should it be over-emphasized either. Everything has its given place in the great development from cell or embryo to a full-grown human being. To be an adult implies understanding the value of every phenomenon and having the power to master the physical world with all its varying phenomena and sensations. It is to allow everything to have its proper place and its proper value.

God gave the human beings a body out of the greatest love. The body has to be honoured as the divine gift it is. Everything in the body has its purpose and its justification. If one does not revere one’s own body as well as those of other people, one does not revere the Deity. Everything that hurts the human body is evil. To interfere with a human body without it being motivated by love and care, is harmful and an insult to the holiness connected to the body. The greatest mission in life and the duty man has, is to take care of himself. This does of course not mean that one should hurt others or intrude on their rights, but it is a question of the reality that one has received a gift to be taken care of. The gift is a personal one, a gift that nobody else but oneself can take on the responsibility for. It is a gift of which the care and improvement is the greatest mission in life.

It is true that, one as a human being has other great missions in life, but the primary mission is to develop oneself and one’s relationship with the Deity. This relationship depends on one living a sound and rich life within the body. That one is open to, and understands, the meaning of all aspects of human life. If one does not make use of the opportunities to develop and increase the gifts earthly life gives, one cannot make use of the opportunities to spiritual development that we offer. This fact cannot be over-emphasized.

Everything has a connection and a necessary path of development. Life is one, but its growth in matter is a prerequisite to make it possible for it to progress to other forms of existence. If one does not allow the fundamental phases to be gone through in the intended manner, one is unable to proceed to later phases of development. If a human being not takes on the possibilities she gets to develop in the current life, we have to make her meet these experiences again, until she has learnt what we want her to learn. There is not any who does not develop to the given form, but where it differs is the time and pace it takes.

The pace of development has to do with how the given basic prerequisites for development have been built up. These prerequisites are among others the characteristics of the individual in form of purposefulness, patience, tolerance etc. If the basic conditions are not set, our work will be directed towards these areas until the necessary level is reached. Thus we create the conditions required to make a man develop in the best way possible.

Through this discussion one can also understand that different people also meet different experiences in life depending on what each individual must develop at the given moment. As a human one should consequently never feel envy towards others seemingly better favoured than oneself. To the contrary, every one should try to make use of the experiences from one’s own life in the best possible way. To live another person’s life or to follow other people’s paths of life, can never give one the right experiences.

One should instead make efforts to understand the lessons given to every individual in life. Both through being sensitive to what life offers one personally and through trying to understand other people’s unique conditions, one can develop faster and richer than if one clings to a demand for justice, without taking the individual circumstances into consideration. This of course requires that one understands what development means, especially the long-term perspective, and that one is sensitive for the spiritual aspect of all development.

The aspect of time, that one has to see the development through many lives - and the spiritual aspect, the fact that it is a development that is being led and commanded through measures by entities that carry the responsibility for development from another level than that of the terrestrial, are the two most important aspects of the earthly evolution or development. If one does not allow these insights to take root in the mind, life will feel confusing and meaningless. If one instead understands these truths, one can endure nearly everything in the assurance that it has a higher meaning and eventually will lead to something better.

The fact that life is development and development is a divine gift is something that the humans should not doubt. The survival of a species has no intrinsic value in itself and a humanity that exists only for the purpose of carrying its genes forward to the next generation would be impossible. The life in the body is important but has no value in itself for mankind, it should be seen as a necessary condition for spiritual development.

Life on earth is only to be seen as a halt on the way towards greater perfection, but as such it is necessary and indispensable. To honour life on earth, is to honour the Divine wisdom and grace. To use violence in life and to violate the earth is to violate the Deity. The Divine power exists in all things, and everything has its justification. A human being who does not understand his place in the Universe and the on-driving forces within, is not able to reach full development.

Every step in the development is a step forward in the level of consciousness. Every step forward leads to a greater responsibility for oneself, other people and the earth. If one agrees to be guided by those who love one and have responsibility for one, these levels will be passed faster, but there are no short cuts, all humans have to run through the same development. This means that one not can say that one person is standing on a higher level and another on a lower, it is only different individuals who have reached different distances on their way.

But to the humans themselves it is normally totally concealed where they or others stand in this respect. There are no outer signs or characteristics, but of course the behaviour towards oneself and others reveals a great deal about the level of maturity. A person who consciously hurts others has a lot to learn. He may be a person with power, but with no knowledge of how to make use of this power in the best possible way.

A lot of human strivings are about building up power and learning to master this power. Every step in development represents dangers in the sense that the faculties one develops can entail risks to oneself and others, if one does not learn to master them in time. A possibility always means a risk if one not has learnt to use it in a proper way. Everything in the existence has a light and a dark side, and a human being who develops a big power in one area without the corresponding ability to use it in the right way, will during a period of transition be a danger to those around him. But sooner or later circumstances are created, that teach this person to handle his power in the best way.

We do not allow any trees to grow up to the sky, but every time a human being has reached full power in one aspect or another, we start a new development in a totally new area, and this will by necessity make the individual experience a feeling of being small and weak again. All development follows this cyclical pattern; a feeling of decline follows a rise. But to us who see the development in the long perspective, it is nevertheless basically a step forward. But to the individual standing in the middle of life without this long-term perspective, the course of events is naturally experienced as a misfortune.

To sum up, development always involves suffering, but one can as a human being also always feel sure of the fact that sufferings strengthen and bring one forward towards the goal that is common to all human beings.

Love

Love is the greatest thing in the Universe and it is the primary cause and the driving force of all. Without the power of love nothing would have manifested itself in the visible world. Love makes everything possible, both on the level of matter as well as in the other dimensions. Everything is connected and carried forward by love.

Human evolution is an act of love, from the beginning to end, from Alpha to Omega. The human soul is created in love and it is made to grow through the influence of the love-force. In love, a human being is begot and out of love it is given help and support in its work to grow. If one is able to use the all-embracing power of love, one can do wonders to oneself and others.

Love is the greatest gift and the greatest challenge a man receives. Egoism and other barriers separate man from the Divine love and then to cleanse oneself and open up to this force becomes a hard and difficult labour. In every human phase of development love is inherent in man, but it is gradually developed and refined to eventually more and more approach its Divine origin. Love can have many nuances and be used in many different ways, but the natural development is that love turns more and more from what is one’s own, towards the great Whole.

Once that love has reached outside the closest sphere of interest, it can be formed and guided towards increasingly greater generosity and wider and wider target groups. To love others as one loves oneself is not easy, but it is a step towards self-realization. If one understands that what one is doing towards others also have an effect on oneself, it can maybe be possible to understand that the love given to others also benefits oneself. All is one, and what benefits the whole, also gives increased value to the part.

Love and unselfishness are in themselves rewards, because these virtues make a man able to create positive currents between himself and others. Every act of unselfish giving has its own reward, even if it does not happen on the visible plane. But by starting a course of events that benefit humanity at large, one also receives a reward oneself. This connection between humans is so subtle, it exists on a level that is not perceptible with earthly senses, but is of that spiritual quality. But if one has understood that it exists and has seen through the mechanisms controlling human coexistence in general, one has also found a very effective tool in one’s own work towards self-fulfilment.

If one is able to use the power of love, one becomes powerful, maybe not by earthly standards, but in a spiritual respect. A true spirituality is about living in love for one’s fellow-beings and for the All. The satisfaction this kind of life gives, exceeds everything a short-sighted earthly striving can give. All that belongs on earth is perishable, but the spiritual work gives results that last through the lives.

That love is eternal is a truth that some have learnt to know. Not in the form of earthly desires but by creating a stock that can be used in future lives. The love one has given to a fellow being without demands for gifts in return, one can be sure of getting back in one form or another. Love is a force that acts over time and space and it strives towards the growth and perfection of all. If love is given opportunity to grow in the life and mind of a human being, this person has reached a step closer to God.

God is love, and all power rests on the foundation of love.

Love is the greatest and also the smallest. It is the reason of all; it is the building blocks of the Universe, but yet invisible and impossible to catch. The strongest force is impossible to weigh and measure. The unique role that man plays in creation has to do with the built-in gift to feel and increase love that has been stored away in every human being’s heart. Mankind is, in its strong yearning for love, a reflection of God.

The Deity loves and wants to unite with man in the same way as human life endeavours to love and completeness. The fact that love has to grow and develop is built in the purpose of human life. The glory of God is love and all love contributes to increase this glory, no matter how small and undeveloped it is.

Every contribution to the great Whole is valuable, but with increasing maturity and consciousness, a man can give greater and greater contributions. True love is nothing that can be forced or used in a wrong way. Love is a pure force, if it does not exist, it can’t be misused. If it exists, it can’t be used wrongly. True love is like pure gold, it lacks impurities.

Love can surely be of higher or lower carat, but with assiduous efforts it can be purified and enriched. If one allows love to grow in one’s life, it will clean out everything of lesser value.

There are many emotions wrongly characterized as love but in reality they are egoism and self-interest. All feelings that primarily are aimed at one’s own best without thinking of the welfare of others, are far from love. Parental love could be a high-standing feeling, but it is often discoloured by the needs of the parents to strengthen their ego at the cost of others. If one does not allow a child to grow of its own strength and from its own qualities, one cannot claim to feel true love.

All that intrudes on other peoples right to freedom and self-fulfilment is something other than love. Love can often be concealed by needs for control and by egoism, but the basic feeling of love nevertheless allows both parts to grow, even maybe at a slower pace. A totally pure love is very hard to attain and it takes humility and an understanding for the realities of human life.

We are all as humans under development, and development imply a step-by-step refinement of the ability to feel love. Most humans have simply not reached that far in their development to be able to understand what pure love means, but if one has got an insight that it is possible, one also has to start working towards its realization in a conscious manner. All humans have the prospect of Divine love built into their being, but to make this prospect grow to a real capacity takes a lot of work and many lives.

Nobody should let themselves be discouraged by this, all humans have the same work to do, but one should also be careful not to be arrogant and think higher of oneself than one is due. A human life is a struggle to learn to control one’s abilities and develop one’s love and brotherly feelings. Basically one has to be strong on the physical level, not in form of bodily strength but in ability to handle and master earthly life. This strength by necessity involves a great amount of personal strivings to protect oneself and one’s nearest.

When this power has developed to its full strength, it gradually has to be replaced by an insight that the progress of the whole also best benefits the individual. This development cannot be anticipated but it has to have its course. Every level of development has its own tasks and its own rewards. Development of love from something rudimentary and connected to the personal survival - to a mature and genuine reflection of the Divine, is a natural process. It cannot be prevented, only temporarily delayed.

We, who guide the development of a human being, always know where she stands in this respect, and what is needed to facilitate growth and maturing of love within each person. A human that in our view has reached far is someone who has developed all aspects of love in its being. Love for oneself, for humanity and for God. None of these aspects can be neglected or incomplete, if one could call a human being perfect. If one takes one’s task as a human being seriously, one is striving to become complete in these areas. We are going to talk more about what each area requires in the following.

On the personal plane love for oneself can seem as an egoistic behaviour. One has often as a human being the view that it is “nobler” to prioritize others over oneself, and that is perhaps true in a sense. But if one is unable to help oneself, one should not try to help others either. The first obligation a human being has is to work on itself to become an instrument to the benefit of others. If one does not take care of the opportunities life offers for development, one has not fulfilled the first obligation one has.

To many people this to serve others certainly can be the biggest mission in life, but in those cases it happens in a way that is in harmony with the best for the individual. If one on the other hand uses others to stand out in a favourable light, maybe to get some kind of aura of sanctity, the achievements one reaches are then of lesser value to others, and they are probably acting in direct contravention of the own development. The underlying motives may be hidden, but if one does not follow the directions life gives, one can never count on lasting rewards.

29/8

Love allows everything to grow within its own species and direction. In all life there is a blueprint engraved for this special being. To follow this plan is the greatest achievement a life can attain. For simpler life forms, like plants and animals for example, the plan is easy to follow, their path of life is built into their DNA. But for the humans it is more complex.

A man is not only his body, but he also has a soul that must develop in the best possible way. In the plan, which out of love is prepared for a human being, also the development of the soul is included. Every human accordingly has a twofold duty; both to allow the body to grow and develop as intended, and to create such conditions in life that also make the soul grow and evolve.

The environment the person is living in determines the growing power of the soul. In an environment that lacks love, the soul cannot get the nourishment it needs. The food of the soul is love. Love for fellow-beings, nature, music etc. All good things make the soul grow, but negative influences suppress and choke it. A man that is conscious of this fact should not allow the soul to starve. All activities that lead to development and growth of the soul are beneficial.

In the love for his fellow-beings man brings out the best in himself, the most beautiful flower of the soul. Love is a power that has great effects on both he who sends it out and he who receives it. Love is exhaustless - it renews itself constantly. Love is indivisible - the more you give, the more it grows. He who is selfish with love hurts both himself and others. Such a person does not allow the soul to flourish and show its true ability.

In love man forgets himself and by that allows his true self to grow and develop in a way that is built into the human plan. Every time a person can allow himself to love without asking for anything in return, he or she has taken a step forward in his or her development.

Love is the driving force that allows life to grow and develop. Without love all striving is made in vain. Nothing that can be assembled in a human life lasts forever, except for love. True and self-sacrificing love allows the human to grow and it gives nourishment for the eternity. This means that love is of eternal nature.

If this force once has forced its way into a human soul, it stays there forever. It can lie hidden and repressed during long times but as soon as it gets a chance it wants to be manifested, because giving is the true nature of love. If one allows this gift to flow out without limitations over those surrounding, the soul is content and happy. Every time one can feel true love for oneself or for a fellow-being, one is one step closer to the Divine love.

A complete self-realization implies being able to experience a love that is a representation of the Divine love. It is a long way to go, the little spark of love that originally created life will eventually grow to a true image of the great love that is the creation and origin of all. The way to reach this goal goes through the terrestrial lives.

In life on earth love is given the best conditions for growth. Through all the various circumstances a human being is exposed to in life after life, the capacity for love and brotherly feelings grows. If a human being does his utmost to take care of these possibilities in the best way possible, he grows and develops to the full extent. The overall plan for all humans has this in-built request for development of the ability for love and empathy towards fellow-beings.

Life in general simply aims at growth and development of this fundamental force that love represents. If one hurts oneself or others, one hurts life and disturbs the original intention that exists in all life. Love and honour for life by necessity implies love and honour for the own person, but also love for the life inherent in all other living things. All that is done by love gives a positive result, even though the intention was not always mature enough to reach the goal. Still the fact that the purpose had its basis in love means that it to some extent leads forward according to the overall plan. No matter how well-founded an action may seem to be, it is still not justifiable if not founded in love and empathy.

The circumstances that best allow a human to grow have their foundation in a loving attitude from us guiding them and from fellow-beings. Our guidance always has its base in love for the individual, and if this love is supplemented by love from those near, we have access to a strong power. We act on the earthly plane through representatives that can understand the messages we are sending. Love is the medium that makes this connection possible.

Our love always flows out over the humans, but without susceptible minds it cannot constitute the acting power it was intended as. If our protégés have trained their disposition for loving activities in the world, we can not only help them forward, but also use them as instruments for the improvement of other people. Love helps us all forward, both those who are in the terrestrial life and we who lead the development from our level. If this truth could reach humanity, the development of the world would be accelerated to a great extent.

The development of earth on the whole is a reflection of the development of the individual. The level of each human contributes to the level of the earth. If one human takes a step forward, it benefits all humans, because every contribution is important. A human who helps his fellow-beings forward in love contributes to his own salvation as well as to that of the great All. A saviour is a human who allows love to grow and increase in his fellowmen. If one takes every opportunity to increase love in the world one has reached a status as saviour. This is a final stage in human development. One cannot count on reaching this status until one has endured many lives in love and worship.

The life story of Christ is an example of how this development can be illustrated in a compressed and condensed form. This life was an example and a guiding rule for the humans that followed him. In the outer he showed all steps a human being has to go through to reach perfection. He was born as little child in matter and gradually grew and matured to finally give his life to the benefit of those who followed him.

Through this sacrifice he obtained resurrection and an eternal life in harmony with the Deity. This development does not happen in the outer for every human in the way he demonstrated, but the inner development is a true image of his path. From the smallest and most helpless, every human being shall grow up to be an adult strong enough to take on the burdens of others and help other people to progress.

When the mission in life of a human is fulfilled, she is mature enough to go further on to an existence where death does no longer exist. This is the life-way of all human beings, irrespective of race and nationality. All great religions have preached this truth, but the humans have had difficulties understanding it. The finitude and short lapse of a terrestrial life makes it hard for man to understand that there is an everlasting life for everyone.

But now the time has come when the humans have to raise their eyes and start working with these new conditions. The fact that all life is created from love implies that all life has the same Divine origin. There is a power, which exceeds over all other powers, and this power is love. When a human being fully controls this power and is fully controlled by it, she is ready to go forward in the service of this power. The goal for human existence on earth consequently is to be a faithful servant in the service of love.

When this goal is reached, man is prepared to sacrifice his personal happiness and satisfaction in the name of the great Whole. On this standpoint he knows that all he does for others also benefits him. He knows that every personal sacrifice is nothing compared to the joy that waits when his own mission is fulfilled. If one can reach this position, one is also ready to begin to act as a fully adequate instrument for our will. Then one will know that the higher Will is acting in the service of love, and that this Will always leads towards the true goal.

A human who knows how to work in harmony with the Supreme Being becomes an active power in life on earth. The achievements one makes do not only benefit oneself and one’s nearest, but also have an effect on mankind as a whole. The struggle this human has fought becomes an example for many others. It is truly a struggle through many lives that has to be fought for a human being to be able to reach its full development.

The way towards a true image of Divine love goes through development of the own personality and its ability for love. By necessity the development must start in a strengthening of the own ego and its capacity for survival, but in later steps this ego has to be overcome for the benefit of the whole. This means that a strong ego not is bad but a necessary step of development, but the breaking down of this ego is an equally necessary work.

Everything in life has its cycles of rise and fall; this is also true for the human history of evolution. If one takes this into consideration it is easier to understand different individual’s various positions in life. One is in a phase where the strengthening of the own ego is primary, while another already has started the work to turn outwards and take a larger responsibility for the welfare of others. But neither of these two is better or worse, they are only in different phases of development. Where one is, the other has been, and where the second is the first will also go.

In the same way the ability for feeling love develops, from primarily concerning the own person and the own satisfaction, to embracing a greater and greater part of humanity. This development is right and necessary. To be able to love other people and God one has to be able to love oneself. Self-denying love is based on a healthy and genuine love for the own person. In this understanding and love for oneself, one also lays the foundation to an understanding for other people and a love for humanity.

Love for the Divinity in one’s own life, opens up to the love of God in other people. The knowledge that all life has the same source, gives strength to fight the struggle to be allowed to unite with this origin. Love is the way towards true unity and fellowship with all things created. Without love one cannot take one little step forward on the way to self-fulfilment. But if one takes the chances to develop one’s love and brotherly feeling that life offers, one can be sure of have taken yet another step forward on the way towards the goal.

But how should one really understand this goal? The struggle and sacrifice are in themselves no goals, but only steps forward on the way towards the great goal. This goal constitutes a total communion with the Lord of Life. It is a fellowship that means a total union in Divine love. Earthly love is but a pale replica of this Divine love and can never give a lasting satisfaction. But nevertheless, this earthly love is the guiding-star one as a human being has to follow.

By gradually developing and refining the earthly love it will become more and more mature and more and more equal to its Divine counterpart. When a human has reached the goal and is able to unite with God she has reached a level in her love that makes her a worthy counterpart to the Deity. This goal is not to be seen as something beyond the earthly, but fully possible to reach in a human incarnation. But it calls for that one sacrifices all that one has gained through such hardships in many lives. Everything of one’s own, all earthly strivings have to be abandoned for a human being to be able to unite with the All. All barriers of the personality have to be torn down to give the Deity free admission. One’s own personality has to be silenced to make it possible for the voice of the Deity to make itself heard. If one has not fought this battle to the end, one cannot count on perfection.

One’s own will has to be subordinated to the Higher Will. All pride, vanity and egoism have to be given up. This does not happen without struggle. These qualities are so strongly rooted in a human being during the development that it takes great force to up-root them. But this is not a task one has to perform by one’s own. It is true that one’s own power has to be mobilized to make this work, but the human will get all the help she needs to be able to make this purification. It is important to understand that this is a work that should not be done until it is the right time in the process of development.

During the building-up phase of development, the work to strengthen the ego has to have its course. But when man stands at the threshold to the next phase we step in with all the help we are capable of. And the tool we use is love. Both through the love we send to the children of the earth, but also through the fact that work in the service of love is what best purifies a soul. Love is the greatest chance but also the greatest challenge. As all strong forces, love can be used for the good, but can also create problems. If a human has not learnt to control his instincts and desires, love can give effects that are harmful to those surrounding.

If a human being looks too one-sidedly to his own good and gives priority to the satisfaction of the personal needs before everything else, the risk is of course great that love instead of being a positive force, creates disaster in people’s life. But love should not be suppressed or denied either. It is of Divine origin and should be honoured, be given the space to grow. One of man’s greatest challenges is about learning to balance these two tendencies. Not to be a victim of feelings and instinct, nor to suppress and quench love in life.

Divine love is all-embracing, and it is what man is intended to reach. The way towards this all-embracing love is long and difficult, but it is something that each and everyone sooner or later will realize in his own life. To be able to love without the desire to own is something that requires one to transfer the main focus of love from the physical area to the spiritual.

In the Kingdom of the Spirit no one owns another person. Everything is free and jointly owned. Love on this level can never be anything else but a positive force. In the Kingdom of the Spirit there are no fences or walls, everything is owned in common. The day a person reaches this level a whole new world is opened up, in which the fundamental yearning for love and confirmation finally can be satisfied in a lasting way.

In terrestrial life love is a volatile phenomenon, but in the Kingdom of the Spirit there is an inexhaustible source of love. He who has learnt to draw from this well need never go thirsty. Divine love is constantly flowing out over the Universe, but a human being has to learn how to receive it.

The way to find this source is, as has been said time over again, through one’s own self. But it is a narrow and lonely path with many obstacles. To make one’s way through the brushwood of one’s own self is not easy, but we give help on the way and at the end the great award is waiting.

All humans basically long to be loved and in turn to be allowed to love, without demands and obstacles. Still, this is not possible to fully realize in the physical world. What may come nearest is parental love, but this is restricted to the own offspring, and therefore only a copy of the all-embracing love of the Deity.

If one is able to break through the restrictions of one’s own self, one can reach a state where a near contact with this Divine love is possible. It is not easy to understand what this implies, but humans who have sacrificed everything to reach this bliss must be regarded as guiding-stars. He who even sacrificed his own life to be able to be united to the Supreme Being, wanted with his example to show that no sacrifice is too great for the chance to win this unity with God.

All that earth can offer is of small value, compared to the gifts that can be found in the Kingdom of the Spirit. Christ overcame the earthly temptations because he knew that there were far greater profits to make in the service of the Deity.

All men are called sooner or later to share the joy of the Saviour in His Kingdom. But if one has not done the fundamental work, one cannot gather the fruits either. To enable a human to share this love-bed, body and mind have to be pure and receptive. The Lord does not unite with anything unworthy.

A great cleansing is the last struggle a human has to take before he or she can receive the Deity in his or her body. This total union is only possible with a human that is completely free from earthly desires and whose body is made permeable and susceptible to the Deity.

This can seem like an impossibility and yet, it has happened and it will happen again. This level of development is built into human life. It constitutes the crown of human strivings, and those who reach this goal can rightfully be described as perfected. The Deity cannot be fully united to something that is not completely pure.

“I am in you as you are in each other.” The way to a union with the Deity leads through a union with the Brothers in the Spirit. A spiritual fellowship and union with people one loves, in turn leads to a union with God. This establishment of a spiritual brotherhood is a necessary condition for a membership in the Kingdom of the Spirit. One has to find a spiritual love and fellowship to be able to reach one’s complete development as a human being.

We help ourselves forward by helping others forward. This is true both for us here and for you on earth. If we succeed in establishing such a brotherly community on earth, we have created conditions to make it possible for many to go forward. This has happened in many places during the ages, but it is not until now that humanity has reached a level where it is possible for this to take place to a greater extent.

It is not easy to establish such a community. It requires that the ground is prepared during a long period of time. Each individual has to develop to be able to shoulder his role in the community. The love, that is a prerequisite for a successful work, has to be cultivated and grown in many lives. The work is hard and time-consuming, but sooner or later we are able to create the personalities needed. When they are brought together in a spiritual fellowship, the forces that lead forward towards the great goal can start to act to their full extent.

These forces are made up of mutual love and a mutual striving towards spiritual perfection. If humans can overcome the lower impulses and purify the love for each other, they have access to a force that can put them in touch with God. Love is the strongest force, and if it can act to its full extent in a spirit of brotherly community, one can reach the stars.

The Brotherhood

30/8

For long times the development of mankind has been seen as an isolated phenomenon. The own personal happiness has been the most important thing for each and everyone. Usually one has prioritized the different parts before the whole, and every effort has been made to one’s own best. The new time to come has to be characterized by a completely new aim and direction in this respect.

The insight that everything is connected, that what one has brought down on a brother also has effect on oneself to full extent, will change the way humans act towards each other. All development takes place in an over-all context, and now the time has come to reveal this context to mankind. If we allow development to carry on as before, the safety of earth will be at risk.

Mankind has to change its behaviour, in both the local and global sense of meaning. Allowing violence and egoism to continue exercising its power on earth will - if nothing happens in the meantime - lead to a catastrophe sooner or later. But if the development can be changed to something better, mankind will have its greatest possibility of success ever. We, who guide the destiny of the world, have to try to intervene in a more direct way to change the destructive behaviour of man.

The respect for life and earth has to be re-established, the rightful position of man in the Universe has to be known. Once upon a time, in the dawn of the ages, harmony and love were rooted in the human race as a pact for their alliance with the Deity. The overall goal for human development is to develop this love and harmony and to let it grow into joy for the humans themselves and for others.

The relationship between a human being and its leader consists of pure love. For our part we can do nothing but try to help man forward, from what we out of pure love know is best for him or her. We also want to develop corresponding connections between groups of humans. When several people join hands to create the prerequisites for the best possible relationships, the love force can act within the group. This is of course is already happening in many family-groups, but the brotherhoods we want to create reach outside of biological relations.

Individuals with similar aim and direction can help each other forward in a way that is not on the conscious, rational plane. When their souls get the possibility of influencing each other, great achievements can be made. This influence acts at its best if the outer conditions are safe and calm, if people come together in harmony and love. All force, all sorts of competition etc. hamper or hinder the communication between souls. A human that is frightened or confused cannot give his soul room to freely combine forces with others.

All types of tension in body and soul also make the communication more difficult. But free souls, who are allowed to act on their own plane, will find each other and help each other forward in the best possible way. The fellowship of the souls is the true brotherhood on earth. By being in such situations where one feels secure and loved for one’s own sake without demands for performance or response, a human being can develop the ability to let the soul free and give it the opportunity to co-operate with other souls.

The fellowship of the souls is a reality. If one, out of fear or egoism, shuts oneself in and withdraws into one’s own person, one hinders the soul from enjoying this spirit of community. It is of course not all souls who have this great relationship, but souls of similar mental qualities seek each other out. The level of development a soul has reached, determines what other souls it will feel related to. Like draws to like.

If a person welcomes what life gives, she will meet other individuals for whom she will have a special feeling of solidarity. These are people that have a similar level of spiritual development, and one should as a human try to find and keep up this kind of relationships. These relationships are not based on external resemblance but on this kinship in spirit. Every time such a brotherhood is formed, one can be sure that these humans will be happy and develop in contact with each other. These are no grand associations in the outer, but they are based on normal human contact. Of course such kindred souls often meet in some kind of outer activity of mutual interest, but this connection that we are talking about is on deeper levels than that.

We who lead our children strive to bring together souls with this type of connection. We try in various ways to create such external circumstances that make it possible to re-establish the connection between people, because it is during several lives that these strong bonds are tied. If one meets a person that immediately seems familiar, it can be this type of connection that forms a background. Often humans are brought together in different ways in different lives. At one time one can be in the same family and the next time have another sort of relationship. From these different types of relationships the bond between humans are strengthened and developed.

The primary cause for some people to be brought together in life after life is to help them forward in their development. If a bond between two people is strong it also increases the motivation to fight for developing the relationship. One gets a situation that prepares the ground for rapid and strong development. In these cases the relationship is often experienced as filled with problems, because the development requires that one works with a mutual problem area. One has a joint task to fulfil and it often requires hard work in the field of the soul. Sometimes one has not finished with this task within a lifetime but is reunited in future lives to finish what has been started.

Exactly for this reason one has great help in one’s development from other people that one is brought together with. The tasks one is working on are connected to the current phase of development. It can be anything from pure material survival to spiritual development.

Something that characterizes a relationship that has been active during many lives is the great love associated to it. Love grows accordingly as the relationship matures and it lives on over the lives to be activated when the parties of the relationship meet again. This love can, if the circumstances are right, be experienced as romantic love between two adults, but in most cases the original intention has not been this type of relationship.

These strong karmic bonds can be experienced as frightening and threatening if one does not understand their nature. If one shuts oneself off from contacts with such a person, one risks losing the prospect of development that the relationship would have offered. Every man’s greatest mission in life is to develop himself and his personality to the greatest possible extent. The best possibilities of development are offered together with individuals one has these spiritual connections with.

If such a connection is allowed to bloom it can give immense happiness and satisfaction. The two souls will in this case work mutually to the best of both parties. But before reaching this state there are in general several lives with strife and struggle. The instinctive reaction when encountering such a connection is to protect the safety and security of one’s own person. If the connection is found overwhelming or threatening the reaction often is to fight or escape. One struggles to protect the own integrity or escapes to prevent other relationships from being damaged. The feelings of longing and dependence often awakened in such a connection can be experienced as so threatening that all contacts with these persons are cut off. But if the connection is given the opportunity to work within the intended scope it can create large and fast achievements precisely because of the power inherent in this type of bonds.

Most people do not experience this on a conscious level, and it is not the intention that they should. During long times of evolution these relationships are nothing man needs or should be concerned with. They exist and they act without anyone on your level needing to worry about them. But at a certain point of human development this fact changes. Then these types of connections are something one has to be more aware of. They change character from - being an isolated connection between two souls - to include additional individuals.

Development has turned into something one works on in a group. The basis is still these personal relationships, but through several relationships being active at the same time the power and dynamics are increasing. Feelings of struggle and peril still appear, but the level of personal maturity of those involved, decides how these are handled. If such a group is established, those involved have normally reached fairly far in their development. Thus they have a greater chance of recognizing this type of relationship, and should be able to handle it in a mature way.

There are different kinds of tasks one has to work on in such a group, compared with what one has to work with in a personal relationship between two parties. In this case it can be a question of developing faculties beyond the level of pure survival. These are faculties that require co-operation and trust to develop in a complete way. Of course it is several people with varying personality that form a group. These different personalities co-operate in a manner that best makes use of each person’s unique capacity. It is crucial in such a group that all different talents are allowed to act in their own unique way and accordingly nobody is dispensable.

There is already a sound foundation to build on in such a brotherhood because it is built on old established relationships. One can start from a higher level, so to speak. What in some cases took a lifetime to develop is in this case already in place and can start to act. One can also be sure of the fact that these types of groups not are established without a reason. It takes a great deal of preparation and we do not do thus without motive. This kind of group has an important task to work on, either it has to do with something only concerning the own development of the members or something that is important to a greater part of humanity. The steps forward that is humanly possible to make in such a group can, with the right conditions, have great influence. But normally it is about a more limited task, something directly connected to the group members themselves.

In such a group the work can be done in many different ways. Sometimes it is of relatively short duration and in other cases it may take a longer time. When such a group is established, we can also choose to let it meet in several lives. Maybe a longer time of preparation is needed to make it as effective as required. A person can also be included in more than one group with different purposes. In the long run more and more groups of this type will form, and humans who act as connecting links between the groups, will tie them together.

Our long-term purpose is that humanity will see itself more and more as the totality it is in reality. That different kinds of bounds be demolished and these spiritual connections be allowed to spread its work all over humanity. Of course this takes a long time, the work has been going on in many ways and it is spread over both time and space. But all the time the striving leads towards gathering and integration instead of disruption and separation. Love is in its nature uniting, and love is basically what carries this work forward.

Love is the force we are using in our work, and humans who have formed many bonds of the type we have been talking about are good instruments in our work. To allow love to grow in one’s life is to allow the Divine force to act. A love that is all-embracing and assembling is what drives development forward. All our efforts are made in the name of love and the more open and susceptible a person is to love, the better help she is to us. All love is good; it is a Divine gift that all humans are allowed to take part of. Our love goes out to everybody; it is only the capacity to feel and receive that differs.

In a spiritual brotherhood, love can grow and increase in a way that is great and sacred. The personal satisfaction is not in the centre here but the best of the group. In such an environment a human develops in the best possible manner. To learn to withhold one’s own needs and wishes, for the benefit of others, is important to the personality. If one can get help to learn to suppress one’s own pride and egoism and thereby benefit others, one has taken a good step forward.

Groups formed to act in the spiritual area have a particularly important mission. The spiritual development of a human being is a way through her innermost but nevertheless it can be quickened through spiritual collaboration with other people of similar aim and direction. The power is increased, and the contact with us leading the way, is more easily established through mutual efforts. Souls meet in unity and harmony and are helping each other forward. Love is the medium through which souls can communicate with each other in the best possible way. Therefore, a group joined in love gives the best prerequisites for spiritual development. Such groupings have been established through the ages and have always been a breeding ground for the spiritual development of their members.

The teaching that was conveyed was in most cases of an external, concrete nature but as man matures, the focus can shift more and more from the external into the area of the soul. Everything that once happened in the outer will sooner or later happen in the inner self. Human development works from the outer to the inner, and the teaching we give is built up in the same way. From outer, tangible symbols we lead gradually towards inner, mental and spiritual phenomena. A group of humans that have reached a certain level of development will receive this inner, mental teaching if the right circumstances can be created. This is nothing the humans themselves need to demand or seek actively, but as soon as the proper conditions are established, we will start to act.

To create the right conditions means giving time for inner composure of silence and concord. No external forms are needed for humans who have developed their own ability to get in contact with their inner world. Still, some techniques can be of use on the road to develop this ability. Such techniques have arisen in different religions and normally they include both physical and mental exercises.

The body and the mental faculties have to be shut off to make it possible for the soul to come into full force. This happens during sleep but in this case man’s consciousness also disappears. If the consciousness is still active, the effect in our teaching increases. The prerequisite is though that man has the ability to silence the intellectual processes such as mental activity, daydreams etc. and to allow the mind to be pure and open to our teaching.

If a group of people jointly can reach this state, our possibilities of influencing them increases. To take part in such an effort radically increases the potential to receive spiritual information. These three conditions: love, harmony and a method to put the mind into a receptive state, give the very best basis for our work with the human beings. We are not helpless if some of the conditions are missing, but our work is made harder and less effective.

The body and the mind can be the warders of the soul, but if the soul is given the possibility to use and control them, they will turn into its best instruments and helpers. All activities, that aim at freeing body and mind from various blockages and restrictions, make the growth and work of the soul easier. Physical complaints like pain and different kinds of stress lead the attention from the inner to the outer, and make the spiritual work difficult. Mental blockages like anger and various prejudices create effective barriers for the soul.

To poison the body by smoking, using drugs or other poisons oppresses the soul and prevents it from acting. The fundamental condition for the soul’s possibilities of action is a healthy and permeable body and a healthy and pure mind. If one allows one’s body and mind to be invaded by too many harmful influences from the outside, the spiritual development will decrease.

Man needs time, calm and room for his own development to assimilate and work on all that he receives, but also to give the soul room to grow and develop. If the conditions are created in a group, the souls will help each other forward too. A soul lives in a body but different souls can also co-operate on levels normally not included in the consciousness.

If one welcomes these kinds of prospects that we have been telling about, one can be sure of receiving help from other people and also being of use to others. If one is put into such a context one must be humble and grateful. One has then received a gift one should take care of. Everything that can make the work in such a group easier is of value. But there are a lot of things that can destroy or obstruct the work. All kinds of compulsion and exercise of power are bad things. Everything must happen freely and voluntarily.

Respect for oneself and others are a primary rule. Various regulations and dogmas obstruct the work. If outer forms like hierarchies, formalised meeting agendas, demands for special clothing etc. are created, the focus is drawn from the inner to the outer. Flexibility and openness have to be aimed at to the greatest possible extent. It is best if the uniting force is mutual love and the wish to develop together. No participant must feel used or use others. The basis is a free will and equality.

Of course this calls for that people are reasonably mature and independent. If a person is too dependent and bound by authorities, this type of work cannot take place. If one is all too caught up by prejudices about what is good or bad, what is possible or impossible, then one is still too stuck in a system of thought to be able to develop freely. One should always be open and flexible, free from belief in dogmas and authorities or anyhow be prepared to extend one’s consciousness in those directions. The true nature of the brotherhood is unity in love and it requires that all restricting rules and normative systems in mind and thinking have been cleared out.

31/8

Every step in the human development is of great value. No part of the way should be scorned. If one does not allow the shoot to grow, the plant cannot become big and strong. The early phases of the life cycle make the basis for what will happen later, and without a firm foundation the building will be unstable. When we lead a human being forward through the lives, we show particular consideration to that she is shaped after his or her own special requirements. All humans have their own unique mission, and they also have to be prepared for their undertaking in life.

If one can trace the earlier stages in a human being at all, it is from the faculties that have developed on the way. No human child is born as a blank sheet of paper; you all have our writing designated from the very beginning. This writing is the abilities and faculties you bring with you from previous lives. If we allow such a faculty to flourish in the current life, one can be sure that it will happen with relatively little effort for the person who has it. One can perceive it as a predisposition for certain activities or faculties.

Every human being has a large store of such abilities that have been acquired during the course of times. How they are used varies from life to life. In many cases they are latent and are not at all activated during the current life. In other cases they can suddenly emerge without any forewarning. How this happens is built into the life plan of the person in question. Everything that happens in a life has a higher meaning. Most things that a person meets have a purpose to help her grow and develop. The scope can seem enormous, but it is all in our plans. Still, how each person uses the chances she is offered lies in everyone’s free will.

On can however say that the person’s level of maturity determines how she meets life and what life has to offer. A person, who has learnt to perceive the good will behind everything that happens, also receives the learning with a more open mind. A human that experiences the existence as filled with arbitrariness and injustice of course has a greater problem with understanding the built-in lessons in all that happens. The humans that see themselves as co-workers in a project, with the purpose of bringing their own development forward, have reached a level where they in an active way can make their learning and their development easier. They have been children that have been led with a firm hand in earlier phases of the life cycle, but now those humans have grown up to be worthy partners to us who are leading them.

The goal of all development is of course to grow and mature, and each and every step in the evolution of a human being has the objective that it will come nearer to the goal of becoming a grown-up personality. If one uses all the chances life has to offer, the process is made easier and is also accelerated. Every human being has laid the foundation in previous lives for the situation he or she is in now, and what happens in the present life will form the basis for what is going to happen in the lives to follow.

All threads are woven into a whole that forms the personality. The web we weave calls for patience so as to create a firm and beautiful pattern. If one fails in one life and thereby spoils the pattern, the damage has to be repaired at a later stage. Everything man sows he will also reap. The life-web of a human being is our mutual responsibility, and man’s part in how it is shaped is as equally important as ours. Consequently, we are also together in trying to repair the resulting damages. If one allows a damage to the web to remain, the tenacity will not be enough for the trials that will occur sooner or later.

The foundation is important, and each new layer in the building forming a human’s personality is equally essential. We work with patience and on a long-term basis. All humans have to go through the same phases of development and we know that everybody fails now and then. To forgive and help a human child up on its feet again is one of our greatest and most frequent tasks. If one as a human being understands this, one can overlook shortcomings in oneself and others more easily.

No human being is perfect, but you are all in school on earth and you should have an accepting understanding of your own and others weaknesses. You are put together to learn and develop, and the people who create the greatest resistance in you often are the ones that we use to teach you an important lesson. The fact that man is man’s brother should be obvious, no man is self-sufficient but you all have a common task in the service of the All. This task is to, as far as possible, receive the opportunities for growth and development that you are offered, especially the things that are provided via other human beings.

If one regards every human being as a co-actor in the play life shapes, one also has to respect that we all are given different roles. Everybody has his justification and is the leading actor in the drama of his own life. To us writing the manuscript for every life story, the contents of the play is obvious and the purpose of the role every man has been assigned is clear, but it is not the intention that the humans themselves should receive the manuscript in advance.

One has to make one’s way through life oneself; the education aims at that man should become more and more skilful at navigating in the terrestrial existence, to finally completely master the art of living - in total accordance with our role-directions. The sensitivity required for this takes many lives to develop, and it takes a lot of hard work and many failures before one has acquired it to its full extent.

To learn to obey the higher will, demands the silencing of the voice of one’s own ego. Our voices and instructions are so discrete; they are drowned by the own consciousness if one is not very sensitive. It is true that it can be our intention that a human being should strengthen his own ego and personality, but sooner or later the own will has to be subordinated to our plans. Life on earth requires a strong personality, but if this strength is not used in the way we have intended for each and everyone, it is wasted. In that case the development is not going forward as we have intended. But if a human being receives our directions and tries, in the best possible way, to use his strength to act as we have intended, he will become the architect of his own fortune.

To understand one’s own unique path of life and to follow it to the best of one’s ability, is the sign of a human being who has come a good part of the way and who will have a fast and easy journey forward. Maybe it is not always easy in the outer sense, but easy in the meaning that one learns from what one meets and that one therefore not has to repeat every lesson more times than necessary. If one receives all that we have to offer, one can be sure of being carried forward as fast and safely as ever possible.

In the cases where the web of life has been woven to a firm and strong web with a beautiful pattern, we can go ahead, but in other cases one has to repair the existing damages before one can go on working on it. One lives and grows in co-operation with other humans, and it is also together with other people that one can repair the damages one has caused to oneself and others. We always bring humans together that have to do this kind of repair work. If we do not allow this to take place, the damage will remain, and that we cannot allow to happen. If one brings together several people with such a duty, the work will proceed in a more efficient way, given the right circumstances.

If one succeeds in creating a joint basis of love and trust, one can heal many injuries for each other. Man’s ability to help others is as big as the ability to hurt. It is a conscious choice of attitude to life that decides in what direction one uses one’s power. As well as a human can choose to be a destructive force in the dealings with others; one can also choose to work in a constructive and positive manner. This affects the big choices in life as well as all everyday events. If one allows love and goodness to radiate in every moment of life, one does not have to become a great person in external life.

To foster and guide oneself in this respect is every man’s obligation. If one follows the impulses to hurt others directly or indirectly, which are built into every human, one will sooner or later meet with circumstances where one is taught the effects of such behaviour. It is only by meeting direct experiences that man learns - and all experiences have a value in that perspective. Most occurrences in life have the aim at developing the faculty for sympathy and love. Without these faculties a human cannot be considered as skilled in any area.

Sympathy for other beings and love for all life are the basic skills that characterize a good and wise human. In our view earthly knowledge is of small value, but love and compassion are qualities that are of lasting value. They develop and grow through what one meets in life after life, and they always work on the level one has reached as a human being.

Even though other faculties can be inactive in one particular life, the capacity for love and compassion will always be active to the extent the individual is capable of expressing at that given time. This means that which is gained in this area, is something one always will have benefit of in the future. One risks losing everything else at the transition to the next life, but one can never lose the ability to feel love. How this love then is manifested depends on the circumstances and the level of maturity of the person, but the stage that has been reached is always kept.

In the life of every human being, there is a moment when one gets a glimpse of the great All and the laws guiding the Universe. To most humans this is a moment that passes fast and it is not accompanied by any lasting insights. But to some, this is the beginning of a new phase in development. One has started to approach that which is the final stage in evolution on earth, namely a consciousness of the Deity and a union with this Deity. The way towards a complete union with the All is long, but sooner or later the final stage of the journey will begin.

This transition indicates that the earthly experiences are exhausted for this human and that a new phase has started where the exploration of the spiritual dimensions has begun. This opening towards the spiritual area is the peak of the human development. Everything before this is only preparations, or the laying of a foundation, for this great event. To be in closer contact with the one who has led the development is a great honour and this does not happen until man is mature enough to make use of the benefit and joy that such a contact offers.

If we would allow humans to taste this in advance, their normal development would be disrupted, but everything in life that gives a foretaste of the great closeness is of value. It gives one an appetite and forces man to intensify his searching. All humans have an intuitive knowledge about the goal of the existence on earth, and it is this knowledge that pushes them forward towards a gradually greater awareness of us and of what we are working on. But we do not make a closer contact until man has reached very far in his development.

Then a time begins when the means we are using to make contact with and influence the human being are refined and developed. The gateway to us is found in the deeper layers of the soul, and when it once has been opened, one can be sure that the contact will not be broken even though it periodically would seem to be finished. But if we once have taken this step towards a greater closeness we will also use the possibilities this contact offers. We let our wisdom and our love flow over this individual and are in this way we hasten the development. If all opportunities are made use of in the best possible way, this human will also advance in our hand in a much safer manner than earlier.

In connection with this, the abilities that characterize a human being who has started the spiritual development also develop. The person’s sensitivity increases regarding both body and senses. The ability to perceive what is good and not so good for him or her increases strikingly, because we are able to give more direct help in these issues. This person can no longer without reflecting accept things into body and mind that are unwholesome.

A cleansing- and purification process starts, where our efforts together with the person’s own feelings and insights contribute to the gradual cleansing of what has earlier on been stored in the body and mind. This can be a painful experience, both physically and mentally, but it is a necessary preparation for the next step that implies that we can get a more direct contact. If body and soul are not pure we cannot make a direct connection with the human.

The full extent of this connection is the truth of the great Mystery. One cannot understand how big this closeness and love is if one has not been allowed to take part of it. But there is still time for humanity to get a glimpse of the wonderful truth. We are really made for each other. Man’s way is a way towards a complete union with us that leads forward. Everything aims at a complete union in the greatest love and closeness.

If one allows this goal to be a guiding-star for all life, one can also be sure of reaching the goal one day. All our efforts aim at this; that man can grow to be a perfect partner in our work of love. When one has reached this stage, one is a perfect human being. In what way the individual reaches his goal is hidden in everyone’s destiny and it can never be revealed in advance, but everyone can be secure in the assurance that it is the intention that he or she should reach the goal one day.

The life-story of Christ reached this fulfilment when he left the body to be united to his origin and thus was born into a new life. In the same manner all humans will be born into a new life where they are united to each other and to us. Man cannot begin to imagine the joy this implies, but it will mean the end of all searching. All dissatisfaction inherent in an earthly life will get its fulfilment and the long way in loneliness and anxiety has at last come to an end.

The paradisiacal existence where one has one’s origin, once again becomes true and one feels complete as never before. To obtain this state is to obtain paradise on earth. He who was the first to reach this goal on earth is the great example and guiding-rule to each and every one that wants to follow. That which he showed in the material world, all his successors will obtain in the Kingdom of the Spirit. His Kingdom is not of this world, but it will nevertheless be established in the material world.

This will happen through more and more people reaching a standpoint where they can understand the extent of the promises given, and because of that they can work towards the goal in a more conscious manner. To hand oneself over voluntarily to us and to allow oneself to be carried forward on our way, is the only method of reaching this perfection.

The path goes through perfect self-knowledge, self-discipline and a determination to follow the higher will. If one knows who one is one can guide and control this being and allow all its powers and abilities to be used by us who know best, one is then our worthy partner. One attains this in a loving work. Love for oneself, for one’s fellow brethren and for us is the power that allows the wonder to happen.

It is really a wonder when a human reaches his full destiny. All work and all efforts will have their full reward. The human stands out as a gem that has been cut during aeons of time. All that has been gathered as experiences, abilities and feelings can come to their full purpose and use. A human who has reached this status is valuable, a sign of what the union between mankind and us means.

Such a human is an asset to us as we now have a tool that can work on the terrestrial level. Someone we know who is totally dedicated to our course. But this cannot happen until a human being has overcome all temptations in earthly life. As long as the smallest rest of desire for glory and riches, appreciation from others and self-confirmation remain - we cannot use him or her in the way we want. Then the personality and the ego are still predominant and we can be sure that short-term considerations will get priority to anything we would wish.

Consequently there is a great demand that we lay upon the person who shall be permitted to take the last step on the way of the earthly evolution. One has to give up everything one has gained with such a great effort in all of the previous development and give away these gifts so that others can use them.

The death of Christ on the cross should be seen in this light. He gave up everything of his free will to finally even giving up his own life. He gave it in the confidence that the example he made should be of use to everyone following in his footsteps. No other lesson is to be found in his death, but that one has to give up everything to get permission to pass to the next level. He showed in practice what everyone has to reach in the inner self. One has to give up all faculties, possessions and benefits for the advantage of being allowed to enter into the All, to become one with the great love.

Thus, this is an inner development of the humans following Christ and it is done under our guidance, we who are the Masters that during the ages have reached the same goal, have gone the same way. Only we, who have suffered all steps on the way, can really understand and feel compassion with those who are making the same journey. We know how painful the growth of a true human is and we can take measures to best promote the growth, and at the same time, best relieve the pain.

This road is a lonely one, but if one knew that one has company and support from us who not are visible, and yet always act, one would wander on it with greater confidence and trust. We exist and we always want to help our protégés forward in the best possible way, but it is inevitable that development brings growing pains. All growing is painful, but when one looks back on the development, one will want to express one’s gratitude for all the help one has received instead of complaining. At that point one also realizes that the biggest stumbling-blocks actually helped one in the climb upwards, that the hardships one met were the best help one could get.

It is in the work to overcome oneself that the greatest pain lies, but it is also there where the greatest rewards can be found. To overcome oneself, give up all that has been achieved, sacrifice everything to gain something greater, this is the grand secret of the later steps of development. The first part of evolution is about collecting as much as possible in the form of will, self-confidence, and purposefulness, in short to strengthen one’s own self as much as possible. When man stands at the summit of his ability, he has to give up all this in favour of the power that stands over all other powers.

A power within will guide one towards this goal. This power is the Divine power of love, the power of Christ that acts in every human being. At a certain point this power will take control over the earthly powers but this does not happen without strife within the individual. To give up all benefits one has gained, all defences one has built up and to overcome the instinctive protection of one’s self does not happen easily. It demands struggle, pains and privation but step-by-step the spiritual force will succeed. It will of course take place easier if man consciously experiences these as achievements, but the work will go on even though one does not understand what is happening.

A big threat to success is the feeling of self-righteousness. To experience oneself as having reached so far that it makes one better than others, and because of that one can perceive oneself as completed. The best remedy to that is to use the example of Jesus. He had to drain the bitter cup, and not until one has followed his example one can pride oneself of having reached any kind of goal. Spiritual self-righteousness is a true obstacle and one should always fight it with self-examination. Only the one who has wandered the way in humbleness understands that the guidance has to come from those who know better. If one has the answers to all questions, one is not willing to receive guidance and yet, this is where everybody is heading.

Knowledge is desirable, but true wisdom can only be reached through us. We have connection with the source of all wisdom and we can give from all of the wealth. To rely on oneself or other humans is not something an adept of the higher school can do. This human has to fetch from the springs we place at disposal. If one can be a channel for this wisdom, and can allow the water to flow freely and let oneself be filled up to the brim, one has fulfilled a great mission. It is not all humans that have this mission in their life-pattern, but those who we use for this purpose should be grateful for this grace. To be allowed to draw directly from the fountains of wisdom is associated with many hardships, but if a human has reached there, he or she can enjoy the fruits of their labour in full assurance that they have done a satisfactory work.

1/9

All the grace that flows out over the earth and the humans come from the inexhaustible source in the centre of the Universe. This source has flown since the beginning of time under the control of the Lord of the Universe. Indescribable and inscrutable is the force that controls everything that happens. It is not a personality, no; the unlimited force is far greater than that. A force that acts for all times, that is far beyond all created.

The colonists of the Universe can never fully understand everything’s source and cause. A human mind can never envision this but as a faint reflection of the indescribable. Since the beginning of time the humans have tried to capture the Deity in their conscience, but it has resulted in nothing but a product of their limited minds. The Omnipotence and love that all creation rests upon is far too great for the understanding of a limited human mind.

Still humans should be able to get a glimpse of the indescribable by watching the miracles of nature, where everything is a product of the Divine creative force and love. If human beings think that God is something outside of creation, outside of themselves, they are greatly mistaken. Everything is a part of the Divine miracle, everything is created in love, all is in God and God is in all.

If a human violates himself or herself or another living being, God is violated. God is inherent in all that is created. Let this truth be a guiding-star for all your actions; all you do to another creature you do to God. We all are parts of the same great Whole. All is one. All belongs together.

The goal for human development is to become conscious of this context in a perfectly concrete and practical manner. When man perceives himself as a part of creation, with a connection to all that exists, he can make himself an idea of God’s omnipotence and extension to all that lives. If a human takes his or her individuality, the own person, as something separate from the whole, he or she has not yet understood the own position in the Universe.

Every human being has a unique mission and is a part of God’s great work. To live in this conviction lifts the perspective from the terrestrial, perishable to the eternal, to the Kingdom of God. The true home and timeless origin of a human being is outside of earth. One lives in the body during different periods to improve and grow but will sooner or later make the pilgrimage back to her source.

To be allowed to return home to one’s true family is the goal and great yearning of every human. Life in the body is a wonder and a great gift, but it is not the right dwelling-place of the human being. Man is a divine entity, an angel fettered in a body. To free this Divine being is the great mission of man.

When life on earth has been drained of all its opportunities for growth and development the soul will grow and transform in the same way as when a butterfly breaks out from its cocoon. You should not allow this to frighten you, it is a wonderful truth and it means the true birth of man’s true self. As long as human beings have not fulfilled their earthly task they have so much clinging and holding them to matter, but as soon as these obligations are fulfilled the soul will start to find its way home, towards the true existence.

At the end of this searching they will meet their true Lord and lover on the threshold of the new home. The waiting reunion is the greatest celebration a soul can look forward to. It is a wedding ceremony where one is at last married to one’s true spouse. The love one has been searching for in all terrestrial lives can finally become real. For the first time one will receive complete intimacy and true wholeness.

In earthly love another person can never fulfil the great yearning that is built into every soul, but still it can serve as a school and a teaching to eventually make man able to respond to the Divine love. Everything that life in the body offers is preparations for what is to come in the next existence. Every experience has its value in this perspective.

If one has not lived through all that life offers and learnt to control and give up, one can not as a human being receive the Divine love in all its power. The soul has to be strengthened and grow to make it mature enough to become the bride of the Deity. Without this maturity it will not be allowed to approach the bridal chamber. This fact has always been known to a few that actively have tried to work on their own maturing and development, but without being met in midway by one’s Master and spouse to come, a human can never find the right way home.

In terrestrial life a vague suspicion that there is something beyond what is visible to a human eye sooner or later forms. All races and religions have this truth but man’s interpretations have been obscured by the limited knowledge that earthly existence offers. Only by searching one’s way out from the terrestrial can a human get a glimpse of the truth.

The journey out into the Universe may seem difficult, but through the gateway in their innermost all human beings have a way out to true reality. The fact that life on earth only is an illusory world and that the real life is in another place can seem frightening to someone living in a body, but it is in reality a great and consoling thought. A human life is short and filled with hardships but with the perspective set towards eternity all pains are negligible.

If one allows life on earth to take its rightful position as a short stop on a long journey, all small vexations and problems should take on their true significance. What may seem as a big stumbling-block should, in the perspective of eternity, shrink to a small pebble that is easy to step over. As long as the primary task of life lies in the terrestrial, man should use all his power for this task.

Life in the body has its great importance and should by no means be despised. But when one has drained all possibilities of development from life on earth, a new phase begins in man’s life and existence. The attention turns from the physical and material to one’s own spiritual development. Not consciously to begin with, and not within the religious forms that consider themselves as having the sole right to what they call spirituality. No, this development and maturing takes place deep within man and it is here that we, who give guide and help on this part of the way, meet.

Our great mission in our function as guides and helpers now begins. We take a more active and direct part in the education of man. What before in most cases happened through indirect influence is changing to a more direct communication at this stage. We certainly do not talk in plain language or dictate exactly what will happen, but by the maturing of man’s mental life prerequisites are created to make him perceive our voices - even though we speak without words.

No matter in what way this happens, it is always made through the growth of the human’s mental faculties and through his or her increased sensitivity. During long times the process is anything but conscious from man’s side, but on the subconscious level big changes are taking place. As times goes by the human being will be more and more conscious of what is happening. He or she can interpret our messages with greater confidence and at the end of this development the connection with us becomes a self-evident and natural phenomenon.

To be led by unknown intelligent entities can seem a frightening and dangerous situation, but to the one who understands that all is one, that the Divine power and love is in everything in the Universe, the contact with us is experienced as the Divine grace that it is in reality. The individual who knows his own strengths and weaknesses does not hesitate to give himself up to those who know better.

Man has to be aware of his own capacity to be able to act in the best way possible in all matters. This is to the very highest degree a reality in the spiritual work. If one as a human does not allow one’s own development to take place with the direction and in the pace we are leading towards, one runs the risk, here as with everything else, of losing the track of one’s course. All physical and mental faculties have to be adapted to the spiritual level one is acting on.

If one uses artificial means and methods that create forced changes in consciousness, gateways can open to realities that one is not mature enough to meet. But if one allows development to come completely naturally, without accelerating it with artificial means, everything will go safely without dangers for mental or physical damages.

To hand oneself over to those who know best, who belong to the spiritual dimensions, is the safest and only way in the long run, towards real spiritual maturity. The truth exists and it can only be found through one’s own self. To search one’s own truth is the only way to spiritual perfection. If one allows other people to influence the own development too much, one can easily be led in the wrong direction.

In the last phases of the searching one is always standing completely alone and destitute of all support from earthly authorities, but it is also at that time our help is the closest and most powerful. To stand completely naked and free from all that conceals the soul is an imperative demand to be able to find the truth.

All sorts of dogmas, self-deception and religious or other obsessions effectively prevent the soul from starting the journey towards home. Not until man has made himself completely free from these, can he get into contact with the Deity in the direct manner that is his destiny and great gift of grace.

To know oneself and one’s own strengths and weaknesses and to be able to control one’s nature and will, is an imperative demand for spiritual rebirth. As long as a human being lives within the framework of other people’s views, follows external authorities and oppresses the own truth, he or she can never pass through the gate to the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Kingdom of Heaven is inside each and everyone, but the way leading there is truly a narrow and stony path. The high road of the great masses can never lead the individual the right way; everyone has his own unique path. But through prayer and self-examination, through continuous work on the own improvement and development and through constantly trying to deepen and extend the own consciousness one can advance on this narrow path.

If one understands one’s double destination, both having to live an earthly life in a just manner and find one’s way back to the great original home, can one create a balance in one’s life that makes it possible to realize this double mission. One cannot be complete without respecting both these facts. A rich and adequate earthly life is a prerequisite of a true spiritual development. A life in matter is a necessity for attaining the Kingdom of the Spirit.

To live in spirit and to live in matter is the same to him who knows that God is inherent in all things in creation. Through the body, the gate to the Kingdom of the Spirit is opened. The body is the instrument the spirit plays on. To train and develop one’s body to be an instrument of the Divine is a prerequisite for true spirituality. No aspects of body and mind are inferior; all has its greater meaning and use. Every mind is a reflection of the Divine mind. Every ability one can develop on the level of matter is of use in the Kingdom of the Spirit.

A personality in balance and harmony is a necessity to make the transit to the next existence possible. The long-term evolution of man has this goal of creating a balanced personality with all bodily and mental faculties fully developed and in harmony. If one aspect is suppressed or overestimated, the long-term aim is not fulfilled. To live in harmony with one’s body and its nature is as important as having a soul that is free and well-developed.

A human being is ready to take the next step in evolution the day when he or she stands upright with pride in his or her uniqueness, with respect for the own character. The early stages are about developing a body and a mind; the following is about using these as instruments for spiritual development. The senses of the body have to be developed to be able to be used by the soul on its journey out in Cosmos.

The human being is a traveller in space. When all the paths of earth have been trodden the voyage will continue outside of the room and the time. All senses have to be fully developed to make this possible. The school of terrestrial life has the aim of making the student completely suited and qualified for the next step, life outside of school. Consequently, everything on earth is adjusted to create the best possible basis for this life.

The fact that matter and time guide one existence does not imply that it is totally different and unknown to the other. All life is basically one, an offspring of the Eternal life and all forms of existences exist in this wholeness. The reality that the body is left behind in its material form does not mean that the experiences made in it and the insights gained will vanish.

The essence of a human’s lives on earth is the equipment one brings along on the journey towards the next form of existence. Therefore life in the body must be honoured and lived to its full extent. Before this step is finished, the next can never begin. If a human allows this truth to prevail one should never do violence to one’s own or other people’s nature. Everything in the body has a meaning and an intention and it is in its own way as holy as anything else.

The human who is allowed to grow and develop in freedom and harmony will by natural means take the shape that is built into the inborn constructional design of every being. Conscious actions to make the evolution take place in the way that best suits the final goal have never been required nor will such conscious interference ever be demanded from man.

The plan is written in the human code, it is there from the first cell-division and no external influence is required to make everything develop in the best possible way. The same is true for the mental and spiritual development. It has to be permitted to go on as freely and undisturbed as possible to allow man to be what he was intended to be. All external force is of evil.

The earthly parents of a child have received a gift to protect and hold in trust, but they should never see themselves as owners of their child. A parent has to nourish and protect her child but she should also always respect that it is a unique personality that has come into the world with its own qualities. If one as a parent puts oneself in the place of the Creator, one is wrong. The inherent life force is creating and giving life, not man. A father and a mother are contributing with their part in the wonder of creation but they should not put themselves in God’s position. A man is a soil for growing, but the one who forms life is only the Master of all Life.

To take care of and help one’s offspring forward is programmed into man, but all attempts to remake another human after one’s own mind and understanding is dictated by egoism and a false feeling of ownership. To allow a child to flourish after its own inner disposition is the greatest thing a parent can do, and this is a law that also directs us who guide humanity.

To love somebody is to allow this person to exist in freedom and harmony, allow him or her to develop towards their absolute destiny. All help that is given out of true love is of a mild and helpful nature. Other currents in the ego dictate all actions that by force try to change or conduct another person’s nature and development.

Parenthood and other relationships where a human is able to influence and direct another human’s development, can form an arena for unrestrained egoism and exercise of power, but it can also be a grand chance to educate and develop oneself. By putting the interests and welfare of others first, one can grow as a human being.

In the ground of human nature there is a great egoism and striving to protect one’s own self and belongings, and it is totally right that these qualities are there, but sooner or later man has to learn to control his nature in a way that also makes room for the interests of others. An understanding of and an insight into the laws of human life, implies that one lives in a manner that neither the own nor other individuals’ rights are violated.

2/9

If the humans also let our voices ring unheard in the future, the world’s necessary development will be delayed even more. The disobedience of the children of earth has already made the self-evident growth of the brotherhood and the development of love in the world more difficult. All that we are striving towards is the dissolution of made-up boundaries and separating barriers between people all over the world.

But by always putting themselves and their own first, the humans work against this development. In the future of earth there are completely new priorities than those who have prevailed. To make man as an individual able to fulfil the objective of his development, his spiritual brothers also have to be lifted up.

What could happen earlier to a solitary individual will now happen to groups of people. The brotherhood of humanity is not associated with nation, race or family, but is a global phenomenon. The brothers are spread all over the planet and the goal is to let them be united in the communion of the Spirit.

The spirit is the aspect of the Deity that acts as a uniting factor in all that lives and exists. The Kingdom of the Spirit is a state of mind, a force, a feeling that can connect souls to each other. A person who has access to this kingdom has completed what life on earth involves. He or she can go beyond her limits physically and mentally, and has developed the human qualities and powers to their very limit.

If one as a human being is able to open the gateway to this kingdom, one has completed one’s own human development. The fact that this is possible Jesus Christ was an example of in his terrestrial incarnation. He showed humanity that the possibility existed and he has continued to guide his flock forward towards the same perfection that he himself reached.

All humans strive towards the same goal, to become worthy members of the Kingdom of God. And the way there goes through love for spiritual brothers and sisters all over the earth. Not until one, as a human, has completely pulled down the barriers of the self, is one able to understand Divine love. This love does not demand anything for its own, but implies sacrificing one’s own for the best of everybody. Not by giving up outer properties and privileges at first hand, but by giving up all means of protection and barriers of the personality.

Every reaction to shut out and protect oneself from other fellow-beings results in shutting out the Spiritual force. To oppress and repress love inside oneself means oppressing the Spirit that lives deepest in man. If one allows love to grow in one’s life, this Divine force will gradually clear the way and open up the personality to an increasingly greater ability to realize the Kingdom of God inside oneself.

”My Kingdom is not of this world” was the expression He used during his life on earth and it is an everlasting truth that the Kingdom of the Spirit is not of a material character. And yet it can be realized in the innermost of man. If a human being allows oneself to be filled to the brim with love, he or she has realized the striving for growth and perfection that is in the plan of every human being. He or she has created a vessel and an outlet for Divine power and love.

The basis and source of the Universe is Divine love, and a human being who fulfils his or her proper mission is a focal point for this power. A human in full flowering is a representative of God and has by that taken his or her rightful position in the Universe.

If one allows oneself to be used for the purpose of propagating and increasing the power and love of God, one is in our eyes perfect as a human; a vessel filled to the brim offering all fellow-beings to drink from it. A chalice filled with sacrificial blood that has been filled out of love. In the Kingdom of the Spirit this still can be realized today, and to those who reach the spring overflowing of the water of life, the possibility and obligation opens to convey this to their thirsting brothers.

By making himself into a channel for this love, man can contribute to helping his beloved brothers and sisters forward. If one draws from this eternal source one can bring health and happiness to those who suffer from deficiencies and diseases. To receive from the everlasting life and to pour out to fellow-beings, is an unselfish gift provided in gratitude of what life has given.

When this channel between heaven and earth opens, a period of spiritual maturing and abundance begins. What has been gained with great efforts can now be freely given to those who are thirsting on their wandering in the wilderness. They can thereby get refreshment and be strengthened for their continued journey. Every human that reaches the goal becomes an example and a guiding light for her fellow-beings.

This duty to serve one’s brethren waits at the end of the human development on earth. Through her position between the material life and the next form of existence such a person can represent a link between us leading the journey and the humans. We use this person to convey Divine force and love out to mankind.

No man can create anything Divine by himself, but a human being can be used as a channel or a medium to canalize the force from the source. A man cannot draw directly from this source of energy but the force must always gradually be led through thinner and thinner mediums down to earth. The all-embracing force is in itself so overwhelming in its power that humans only can receive it in a very diluted form.

The hierarchy of forces that constitute the Masters of the Universe are taking care of this diversion. They lead and distribute the Divine force to make it work in the best way intended. This is an eternal responsibility and nothing that is handled through some kind of human or personifying beings. It is instead different kinds of force-levels or phases of the all-embracing force. All is one but all cannot exist in the same phase. The force can have different density and different intensity in different phases.

Life on earth is characterized by a great denseness and a low intensity and it cannot be exposed to a greater intensity without being destroyed. All force has to be transformed to a form that can be received by earthly life. For the human that is going to act as a channel between this lower intensity and the higher levels of vibrations characterizing the other dimensions, both body and mind have to be strengthened to a degree that makes him or her able to endure the contact.

This process of hardening is not always easy, but we lead it in a way that prevents risks and problems to the greatest extent possible. If a human should be able to go forward on this way on her own, the journey would involve great dangers, but under our guidance it can take place in a safe manner. On the journey the human is escorted by beings that have the duty to promote development towards increasingly greater ability to open up and receive the spiritual force. These beings are both those who have guided and helped the human in earlier phases of development, and those that possess special faculties to help and support in this phase.

Every step on the way is hard because one is a traveller in regions one never visited before, but there is also a lot of help on the way. We never allow our adepts to suffer unnecessarily, but nevertheless this development is associated with pain. To free oneself from one stage and go further to the next is always a difficult task. The cost of development is pain, but the gain is to know that one progresses towards increasingly greater perfection, with the goal to finally reach one’s full destiny and potential.

If one receives the support and the help we offer, everything is made as easy as possible. We give guidance on the way, but the adept also has to be willing to go forward. Without knowing the goal, only driven by one’s searching mind and one’s longing to reach something one even can not make a clear understanding of oneself, the human has to struggle forward on the lonely journey.

A human who has reached this stage in development is lonely. He or she has to search the way forward on his or her own. On this part of the way one cannot count on other human travel companions, one has to work oneself forward through one’s innermost. The devotion and the purposefulness that is required cannot be raised in any other way but through one’s own deepest emotional life. One has to strengthen one’s will and purposefulness and not let oneself be distracted from this work even for a moment. All experiences and adversities in matter are in this phase gratefully received as means to strengthen the purposefulness and willpower.

The work is best done in silence towards fellow-beings. Before the rose fully blossoms, its growth can all to easily be disturbed if exposed to external influence. An industrious searching is needed, but if one is too early in revealing to those around what it is all about, one will not reach as far as intended. The force has to be allowed to grow in private. Not until it has reached such a level where it can give protection against anybody that want to divert, make excuses and ridicule the work, can it be revealed. The day when this is reached, we who  guide will also clearly express what the next step will be.

We do not hesitate to contact a human being who has reached so far that he or she can be our collaborator. In the initial stage our contacts are indirect, but as soon as the person’s intellect and mind are capable of more direct communication we will let our voices sound inside of the person. When becoming more trained he or she will understand our messages better and learn to trust us.

To create a complete trust in us and in our methods takes many lives. We can never speed up this process because it is fundamental for the possibility of completing the work as intended. If the basic trust and belief in us are lacking, the collaboration will not develop as required. All fears and all prejudices have to be removed in the human to give access to the deeper layers where we are active.

We are working in many different ways to strengthen the trust in us and we test in every step the human’s will and capacity to manage his or her part of the work. This indeed is a joint project; where we from our side work to open up and strengthen the communication as much as possible, but where the human also has to demonstrate the will to meet us. We can never force a person to do anything against his own will, in that free will lies the fact that every step of the way has to be confirmed by the human himself.

But eventually an alliance between the human being and us can be established with the aim to lift her up to us. If the human takes this seriously she has commenced the last stage of the way towards the true home.

Such a direct collaboration is very rare and it is a characteristic of an extraordinary relationship between us the Masters and the human being. To be selected as a collaborator to the Masters of the Mystery is a grace that is not granted many, and if one has met with this honour, one can be sure of having a special mission ahead.

Before one can start the final voyage towards home, one has the privilege of paying back a part of the debt in form of sacrifices of other people and beings that one has collected during all the lives. This paying-back is done when one in turn sacrifices oneself for them standing in line to begin their work towards spiritual perfection.

The sacrifice consists of giving one’s store of knowledge to humanity. This can be performed either by taking on disciples so to give them guidance and knowledge as much as possible or by using one’s own life to create an example for a greater part of humanity.

The very greatest masters have had the ability to bring truth to life through their own lives.  They have in their last life on earth created a teaching that has signified life and not a lifeless theory. They have embodied in their personalities all that can be represented as virtues and abilities on the level they have reached.

The greatest thing a human being can do is to shape him or her into a true image of Divine power and love. By embodying this, the human being pays her tribute to the Lord of all Life. By forming an example and a working force this human gives his or her contribution to the development of the great Whole. Every such step forward is connected with great resistance and strong counter-reactions from those who want to continue their present state of existence. Thus people who want to act as pioneers for something new are exposed to very great strains.

Still, Divine will is development and progress. We always work on extending the understanding of mankind and to raise its level of development. Nothing in the Universe is static and the revelation of God’s plan is a continuos work. It always has taken the best form for each time and for each level of development, but our guidance is a continuous process and we will always try to develop new channels for our message.

As mankind grows in maturity and intelligence the focus of our message will move from the visible area to the spiritual. Now the time will soon come when the spiritual message can be understood by a greater number of the children on earth. The power of the Spirit at last can begin to work in the way that has all the time been planned.

When the focus is moved to the spiritual area the work also can be performed in a totally new way. The power of the Spirit acts over time and space. It forms a connecting link or a uniting medium, between us and the humans who have reached a sufficient level of development to be able to meet us. Faculties, that formerly have been very rare, will now start to develop in more and more humans.

In the Kingdom of the Spirit such things that have been happening with great toil on the material level will be easy. All physical barriers are taken away; the communication can take place directly from mind to mind. All feelings and moods are conveyed from one soul to another without need for intermediary translations.

But once one has attained access here, one also has big responsibilities. Nothing dense or impure can be allowed to pass through the gate. Every man who wants to reach here has to be pure and free from all egoism. It is only in love and generosity that our gifts can be shared. In the Kingdom of the Spirit everything must happen for the best of everybody, here nobody is allowed to exploit or force another person to do something. We only unlock the gate for those who have reached a high degree of maturity and purity.

Only the one who is pure and innocent can enter the bridal chamber. If one takes this message seriously, one understands that every human being will be united to the Deity, but it cannot take place without great efforts. To be able to form a communion with the highest power one has to have reached a degree of purity, a frequency in one’s spirituality that constitutes an appropriate correspondence to this, the Supreme Being. It can seem impossible to reach this in an earthly incarnation and yet, you know that it happened once.

He who lived his life with this goal also succeeded in reaching heaven. “I am one with the Lord” was the message he gave and other humans will follow his example. His life was nothing but a teaching; an education for his contemporaries and for posterity, and his way will become everyone’s way to self-realization and blessedness. If one takes his teachings seriously one has as a human being a great Master and teacher as guidance.

His first disciples on earth were chosen to pass on his teachings and example. They were in no respect his equals at that point in time but the intention was that they should grow and develop to eventually be able to completely follow his example. They had been prepared in previous lives for the big event and their education and development continued during long times thereafter.

A perfect human, an equal of the Saviour in justness and love, can never be created in a short earthly life. The development of a human soul is immeasurable in its long-range. Every human has once been born as a small gleam in the Divine source, and the way that has begun can never lead elsewhere than back home to the Whole. Every human goes through the evolution in life after life, existence after existence.

The group we formed around the Master was prepared during the ages and the intention was that it should be the basis for his further work on earth. These humans were sent out representing him to preach the truth to all peoples of the world, and it is not until now that they have grown and matured enough to finish his task. They are among all people on earth and they are waiting for the great return; that they should be allowed to reunite with their Lord and Master as promised.

All that he has preached will be fulfilled on earth the day his beloved and disciples are mature enough to perform their part of the great work. Everything that has been done to strengthen and develop them has been done out of love. Their mission is big, but we have guided and supervised their development with this great purpose as a guiding-star.

3/9

If a human believes in a higher guidance, her development is made easier to a considerable extent. She can in that case actively look for the messengers we are sending in form of dreams, intuitive feelings etc. If the individual allows this belief to gain a footing in her being, it can eventually carry her through life after life.

If one lives in a true spiritual union with one’s guide, it gives a power to progress and development that is unsurpassed. We allow this spirit of community to grow and flourish and we try with all possible means to promote its expansion. When it has reached a stage when it has developed into an acting power in the life of the individual, he or she will actively look for situations where the spiritual union with us can thrive. This can take place both individually and in a group with others.

The individual way is the freest and the easiest to find but in the right sort of group the power can be concentrated and amplified. One helps each other forward by creating a joint channel for the contact with us. It is a demand though, that the activities in the group have a character that allow for and encourage, a quiet listening inwards, because it is there we can make our voices heard. A group of people that are aware of how to use the spiritual power can more rapidly reach results than a single individual. If one makes use of the opportunities for being together spiritually with other people, one also can count on the contact with us to deepen and develop.

What does then “being together spiritually“ mean? It is to understand and acknowledge the force that unites all life and to use this force in one’s own soul to reach other souls, on the earthly plane or on other planes. The Spirit is the force that unites all; in this force one can make a contact and a union with all other life. If one allows the spirit to grow inside one’s own soul and body, one will increasingly get greater capacity to reach outside the borders of the own self and come in contact with other beings.

A great spirit is a force that can fill up and bridge over all distances, both in time and space. If the spiritual power is large the soul can leave the body and set off for other dimensions. In the spiritual force a lot of what can seem solid and self-evident can dissolve and obtain other dimensions. In the Kingdom of the Spirit time and space are subordinated dimensions. The freedom of the spirit is so great that the limitations of matter no longer exist. All that has been created can be recreated. All firm rules and limitations can be released.

If a human allows the spiritual force to pour into the vessel that body and soul form, she will gain access to new truths. Her perspective will change and the apprehension of what is firm and true will change from a material approach to a spiritual conception of the world. In such a picture of the world, life on earth is but a minor part of a much greater and wider context. The Kingdom of the Spirit reaches outside time and space and makes it possible for the soul to travel through dimensions with totally different characteristics than those of the earthly existence.

In the Kingdom of the Spirit there are no boundaries; all is one. Thoughts and feelings can be conveyed and perceived directly, without intermediate links. If one makes use of these opportunities one can follow one’s desires and have them realized without taking measures in the physical world. “And whatsoever you shall ask in my name.” In the name of love everything can take place in the Kingdom of the Spirit. God is love and to ask for something in the name of God is to ask for it in the name of love.

He who loved the world so that he gave his only begotten son is a pure source that offers pure love. The Kingdom of the Spirit is the Kingdom of Love and all that is requested out of love also can be carried out there. This kingdom is reached by one realizing it inside of oneself. If the drop of Divine love that resides in every human heart can grow to a strong power it can be united to all that is of the same nature and origin. All humans who are aware of living and existing in this Divine power of love can unite with others in this force.

Sexuality is the force helping humans forward towards a union with the Deity. The love and yearning for union and wholeness inherent in sexuality is a reflection of God’s yearning for mankind. In physical love for another person lies the seed for what in due time will be the union with everything.

Man’s search for God is expressed in searching for a union with another human being. In the fulfilment of the sexual act one will for a short moment find the wholeness and the absorption into the all that one seeks in the depth of the soul. But physical satisfaction can never give the lasting peace and wholeness that a spiritual union provides.

Another human being can never completely satisfy the yearning for love; physical love cannot replace spiritual love, but life in the body offers a chance to train the faculties and senses that eventually will come to their full use in the Kingdom of the Spirit. The love-force contains a vital force and a desire towards merging and unification. The level this force has reached in man constitutes a standard of spiritual maturity.

When this power has reached its full development in a human being, and when one has learnt to use and control it, one can reach outside of physical and terrestrial constraints. One can learn to use this force to help oneself and others instead of only using it for one’s own short-term satisfaction.

A strong love that is steered and guided into other furrows than physical satisfaction is a revolutionary force. It can be viewed as a Divine gift that will give lasting joy and satisfaction if rightly managed. Love is so strong a force that it easily can make an untrained and undisciplined mind succumb to the instinctive reactions that are built into all humans as a guarantee for the survival of the human race.

But love and sexuality have a much wider scope for their operation. Basically this is the force that created prerequisites for all life, all manifestation in form. Divine love manifested itself in its unbounded richness and it will continue to act in all eternity.

Love is the basis for all creativity. All creative power is in the polarity between the male and female forces, in the yearning for fusion and wholeness, in lust and joy. Without the urge to unite with one’s opposite pole there is no force to life and expansion. This creative instinct can be traced in a more or less refined form in all life.

A pure sexuality or instinct, without the aspect of love, is adequately serving life’s inherent instinct for survival. In the act new life is created but it does not contribute to increase love in the world. A union in true love certainly does not need to aim at creating new life; yet it creates an increased value through confirming and increasing love.

In the union with another human being man creates cosmic energy. The driving-force basically is the longing of the human spirit for its origin. It is the yearning to unite with the Deity. In the strong longing for love that is built into human nature, is at the bottom the longing of the soul for spiritual union. In searching for an individual that can satisfy this deep hunger the human is driven towards a final insight into the fact that this yearning never can be satisfied in a physical relationship.

When love reaches its full blooming it cannot be satisfied anymore by being canalized into sexual love and not even in parental love. Then it is such a strong power that it has to be allowed to act on the spiritual level. It is only on that plane that this mature love can be satisfied. But the road there is long. All steps of human development are required to make love grow from the very first feeble glimpse, over the natural and necessary stages where it all is about instinct and reproduction, to eventually act as a mature and independent power aiming at the happiness and welfare of others instead of the own satisfaction.

When a human being has learnt to use this strong force for unselfish service, he or she can also understand that this force has a correspondence in the spiritual dimensions. Love and the urge to become as one exist in all living things, whether it has a terrestrial body or not. A union in love is the driving force of the Universe.

Humanity receives a perpetual stream of love, and our wish and hope is that we should in turn be met by this love. Heaven and earth can be united in man. The yearning for a spiritual union that is built into man corresponds to our yearning for man. The final product in human development is a person in possession of a love so strong and all-embracing that it makes him or her able to break through the earthly restraining limitations and be united with us in Divine love.

Such a human being can receive and convey our love to other individuals and create a uniting link between the different kingdoms. With the double citizenship in the spiritual and the terrestrial, that human can wander between both homes as a messenger carrying Divine love and wisdom. It is not a simple task to get there, but it is nevertheless the built-in and fated destiny of all humans.

4/9

As man searches for God, God also searches for man. The significance of this double direction that the searching manifests itself in can not be underestimated. Without this mutual need no contact would be established. The power of the humans is all too weak to make them able to reach outside the visible area without help, and without man’s susceptibility and longing the Divine messengers cannot get through with their message.

The reciprocity in the relationship between man and God can be compared to a love affair. In the same way as a human being longs for the loved one, God also longs for mankind. Every human receives this Divine love, but without being open and searching, the goal cannot be reached.

There is a great meaning in this that man himself has to pine and search to make the contact achievable. If this were not the case, man would not be driven forward to increasingly greater perfection. If one were allowed to stay in Paradise, mankind would not go forward. Through being driven out to the world, their searching back towards God also became a way of development.

The Garden of Eden has always been there, but the senses of mankind have been too insensitive to enable them to discover it. But in the search for the true home, the body and senses of man are refined to eventually make the individual mature enough to receive the great gift that is God’s love. To be allowed to love and be united to the Deity is the destiny of every human, but one has to be sufficiently mature to receive this grace. If all chances for development that terrestrial existence offers are used, one will sooner or later be able to receive God in one’s life and in one’s body.

To be able to receive this gift, it is necessary that the human being has gone through all earthly experiences, and has allowed these to be included in the bank of experiences, that are gathered in the barns; the harvests that life has given. If one does not learn the lessons from the experiences of life, one cannot go on to the next goal. In every life the human receives such things that are necessary for the subsequent journey, and if one not accepts these gifts, one cannot manage in the future phases of the journey.

Life on earth is a necessary precondition for the existence that continues beyond matter and if one does not make use of what is given there, one is not ready for the next step. But as soon as a human has reached the position where she controls that which life gives, she can begin her development towards the spiritual kingdom. There, we who guide meet, and there she will be allowed to meet God in form of the all-embracing power of love.

To be allowed to be united in Divine love to those one loves is the gift that awaits after one has lived through all the experiences of terrestrial lives. This love is so great and wonderful and no earthly love can compete with it in power, strength and delight. A human has to be spiritually mature to be able to meet this strong force. Without the human having built up an inner strength and a personal power that corresponds to what he or she meets, one cannot reach the heights where the Kingdom of God is.

One must be able to reach out for the goal of one’s dreams on one’s own wings, and it is true that we meet and help the human up, but the first part of the journey one has to walk on one’s own. The joy and love waiting when we are united in great love in the Kingdom of God can never be surpassed in any earthly circumstances. If the humans knew what was waiting, they would not hesitate a moment in the struggle to reach this goal.

But it has not been the intention that mankind should know what was waiting until they were mature enough to be able to reach it. For long times the children of earth have been wandering in darkness and wilderness, and only their thirst has driven them forward. It is the thirst for the clear water of the well, the thirst for the life-giving power and joy of love. This longing is put into the human beings from the very beginning, but during long times they will primarily try to satisfy it in terrestrial conditions.

The search for Divine love is manifested in a search for a love on earth. A man or a woman is made to personify the Deity. In every human being there is a piece of the Divine spirit and this piece is always looking for its counterpart. For a moment the spirit is made whole when male and female are joined together but as soon as the two are separated the person is half again.

There is nothing in God but wholeness and unity. The Divine love-power allows both aspects of existence to be balanced in perfect harmony. By integrating male and female into oneself, man can reach a status that makes it possible to unite with this Divine harmony. The human is incomplete as long as one or the other aspect is suppressed in the personality.

When the spiritual power is allowed to grow and expand inside a human she can gain access to both of these forces. In a spiritual union with other persons who have reached the same status, these forces can be strengthened and the possibility of coming into contact with us can increase. But this work requires awareness and maturity. There are strong forces that are activated and the proper results can never be achieved without great seriousness and humbleness.

If one does not take the spiritual purpose seriously the result will not be anything else but a child’s play on an arena that one does not master. One will fall into patterns of behaviour and reactions belonging to earlier stages of development and the efforts will not lead to the intended goal. The level of personal maturity is vital for the outcome of such an effort.

We bring from time to time groups of humans together, that have the prospects of reaching a spiritual communion that could lead to an extended contact with us. But in most cases, the efforts have been interrupted halfway. The necessary ability to endure temptations in form of satisfactions of the flesh has been lacking.

If one is working with love as the goal, the means and the tool - there are big risks for failures. But this is the path one eventually has to learn to master to be able to reach higher spheres.

One can never set out on the way there guided by rational reason. In the Kingdom of the Spirit, man’s reasons and the limited conceptions caused by the laws of earth, do not prevail. Here one has to go outside of these boundaries, allow oneself to be guided by those who have the experience and know these surroundings. To give up the own superiority and to yield to other authorities, are necessary preconditions for a human to be able to search his or her way out from the terrestrial environment.

He or she can meet us in the innermost of the self, and in this calmness and seclusion we can help the individual forward. But if several people are searching for this state of love and harmony together, the work can be made easier. Every successful attempt of this sort increases the appetite for spiritual experiences and thereby our work is made easier to a considerable extent. Thus, we encourage all such gatherings in serenity and harmony by bringing in all the love and power we can.

Man’s wandering through the lives and the existence is in many respects directed by this search for love. Unfortunately, most people are not able to give as much as they ask for. They know their own needs and demands, but are in many cases not willing to understand that other individuals have the same need for love and appreciation.

To be able to give and receive with the same open mind is a prerequisite for being able to partake in a spiritual communion with us. If one only demands things for oneself without being prepared to give in return from one’s own funds - one will be forced to learn this lesson before one can enter into communication with us. We try as far as possible to make this learning process easier, but it has to be endured and understood before the real life can follow.

Everything that has been gained on the way through the lives has to be abandoned on the threshold of the new life. All experiences have fulfilled their purpose, and only the lessons that the experiences have given need to be brought along - if they can be of use in the new existence. This is the reason for the fact that human beings normally do not have any conscious memories from previous lives.

In every transition one only needs to bring along the essence of the teachings life has given. Everything else is perishable, without value in the future. In exceptional cases we can give insights into events from previous lives, but then we have a very special purpose, and this normally has to do with the education in the current life. Understanding for and insight into what life on earth means, is an absolute condition in the final phase of an earthly existence. For an individual who has reached this final phase in the row of lives on earth, the insight into previous incarnations can give a necessary knowledge of the continuous character of a certain relationship.

Even though a person has no memories or knowledge of previous lives and relationships, they have an influence on the ongoing incarnation. Qualities developed and faculties obtained are incorporated in the personality even if they may not be active at the moment. Human relationships are recurring in different lives even though they are not taking the same form from life to life. Some souls are designated to help each other forward and they are brought together in different ways in different existences.

The communion of the heart and the spirit once founded in the moment of creation will also lead back to the original home. In the creation the original harmony is divided into two elements and the imbalance created through this also drives the development forward. Through life after life the unsatisfied longing for this missing half will drive the human being forward in the searching.

This passion is truly a path of suffering, because not until late in the development can one count on satisfying it. But the search also creates the basis for the fulfilment of the yearning. Through the strengthening of the personality and love by experiences of the existence, the person will in the end be able to find his missing half, filling up the great void.

Through a strong and mature love for another person one will be able to break open the barriers inherent in the earthly existence and be able to obtain a union with the Universe, the origin or God. Whatever one chooses to call it.

The love that has to develop cannot seek its own; it has to be charitable and patient. Not until human love assumes a Divine dimension in form of an all-embracing, all forgiving love, can it be united to the Deity. Like draws to like, and Divine love cannot unite with something that is egoistic, demanding or dependent.

The human who is going to meet God has to be carried by a Divine love and stand as a full-grown and independent individual before her Maker. She has to search her way towards the goal of her own free will and entirely on her own. The last part of the spiritual journey can never take place under compulsion and it always has to be done on one’s own.

The mountain of transfiguration has to be climbed and it can only be done under our direction, it can never be done on behalf on another person or at another person’s expense. Other humans can constitute patterns or guides from the examples they have created in their own struggle, but when the time comes, one has to conquer the mountain on one’s own.

A part of this struggle is always about transforming earthly love to a heavenly or spiritual correspondence. By starting out from the love for oneself, the nearest ones, a partner and eventually all humanly, love expands and matures. But all growing is painful and it is true in this case as well. Love is polluted by ownership and egoism, and it is a heavy task to cleanse it and make it free from all such earthly emotions.

One is trained for this in many lives, and all aspects of love have to develop to make it reach its final supporting capacity. Love for one’s neighbour is an absolute condition for one to be counted as a mature human being. And this love has to be unconditional, generous and giving. It does not always need to be outwardly visible, but it acts from heart to heart.

A mature love is a condition to gain access to the Kingdom of the Spirit. This love is both the means used for creating spiritual growth, and the goal that the search is directed towards. Love is the entrance-key to spiritual communion. The union is experienced in spirit and the Spirit is the visible aspect of Divine love as well as the invisible medium that ensures the unity of all.

God is love. The aspect of the Deity that goes out over the Universe is a perfect love, in perfect balance and harmony. It is the origin and the nourishment of all life, containing all wisdom. In the original source all knowledge is accessible to the one who reaches the pureness required to be able to draw from it.

The plan contains all that is going to happen, everything is written in the code inherent in all life. The design differs, but the goal for all humans is that they should reach a Divine status. When a human being has reached the purity, balance and harmony that is the goal of the development, he or she is also a true image of her Divine origin.

The glimpse of the Deity that once constituted the beginning has then grown to be the dominating factor of the very being. When one can act as a representative for both the terrestrial and heavenly origin, the destiny as a human is fulfilled. Body, soul and spirit then form a harmonious whole, where no aspect is oppressed.

The Spirit is the Divine presence in man; it is the part of his being that is a representative of the eternal Existence. The growth of the Spirit begins when all earthly aspects are fully developed. The body belongs entirely to the terrestrial but it is by no means lower or worse than the other forms of the human being. The body and its senses are vital conditions for everything else to be able to develop. The soul contains mental- and emotional life and is partly perishable, but one part also contains that which has been extracted from all the experiences and faculties that have been acquired in life on earth.

The Spirit is pure love, it is the Divine aspect in human life and it can never grow in an environment that has not been raised over the pure egoistical and predatory instincts in man. The body and the soul are the coverings of the Spirit, and it can never shine through if these have not been made clean and permeable.

A stage of cleansing always has to precede the growth of the spirit, but this cleansing is not a sufficient requirement for spiritual growth. The Spirit also has to be nourished to grow and this nourishment can never be found in earthly conditions. The Divine has to be nourished from the Divine sustenance.

The power of love flowing out over the Universe is the food for the spirit and it has to be provided through an open and permeable body and an open and permeable mind. The eternal part of the spirit is the channel through which the Divine nourishment can be brought down and if this channel is not open and clean the spiritual growth will also be repressed.

Body and soul in balance is a necessary prerequisite for spiritual growth and the work that the human has to do to reach there, entails physical, mental and spiritual training and development. Through the efforts to clean and develop the body and soul the person will meet us in our efforts from the spiritual plane to help the individual forward.

When body and soul are clean and open the great spiritual growth can begin, and it happens totally under our guidance. As the channel gradually opens up we also allow more power to flow into the human, and this makes the spirit grow stronger and stronger. This spiritual development is connected to physical and mental pain as well as exhaustion, but if the person endures this phase the spiritual strength will eventually give a joy that makes all sufferings negligible.

The spirit that has grown strong enough to use all faculties of body and soul, will force its way out and search further towards other people with similar spiritual development, and eventually towards the great All. Now the human has reached a position where he or she for the first time can appease the hunger that has been the driving force through all ages. The joy and satisfaction that this gives has no comparison on earth.

To be allowed to unite in love with one’s spiritual sisters and brothers, both those in terrestrial existence and those in other dimensions, is the highest happiness a human can experience. This is truly to feel the Kingdom of Heaven realized on earth. This opportunity has not been possible to realize until the humans have reached such a position in their development where they can override their own previous limitations.

It is necessary to develop the ability of reaching outside of oneself in self-forgiving love to make this possible. The limitations of earthly existence have to be exceeded, and to enable this to happen, the humans’ senses have to be trained and refined and new faculties have to be developed.

Spiritual faculties cannot be developed until the Spirit has been allowed to grow and be strong enough to force its way out through its earthly covering. When this takes place, the next step will as always be to discover and train the abilities that the new situation makes possible. One has then entered domains that are regarded as threatening and dangerous by those who do not understand the nature of these faculties.

The Divine origin of the Spirit forms a fundamental condition that excludes all evil, but to those who have not understood this connection, the forces in action can seem supernatural and inhuman. Still, this is basically an incorrect attitude and only due to lack of knowledge.

Spiritual faculties and gifts are the crown of the human development and must not be disregarded. These are the faculties that eventually will form the equipment of the human in the next existence, and the spiritual development is an essential preparation for this existence.

The development never stops, new forms of existence follow earthly lives, and life on earth is a necessary and indispensable preparation for the next step of development. And in the same way as one prepares for a journey by packing the things one needs and saying farewell to those one is about to leave, this transition signifies a period where one gathers together what one needs and says farewell to all that has been.

5/9

Heaven on earth is reached when the spirit enters the earthly pastures. It is a state where the spiritual power is manifested in the flesh, in the body and senses of man. Heaven on earth can only be established on earth by the participation of man. As representatives of Heaven and as citizens on earth, the humans are unique in their role as receivers and intermediaries of heavenly power.

A human can act as a power-line or channel between God and humans, if he or she has let their spirit grow and develop to a strength that can carry this Heavenly power. In the end of the earthly existence this spiritual ability can develop to its full strength. This is done through the activation and bringing together of faculties and abilities gathered during previous lives. What has been gathered in the heavenly barns will then come to its proper use. In pure love, such a person can serve to his or her full determination, and in the act of pure giving; the Kingdom of Heaven can be realized. The grace this signifies is the highest possible in an earthly existence.

The realization of the Divine love on earth implies a victory over all egoism and all that is needed for one’s own gain and profit. It is a complete renunciation of all one’s rights but still a winning that cannot be surpassed. If the demands from the ego and personality can be silenced and the own will subordinate the Supreme Being, then one has reached perfection of what one was intended to become. This gift should be received in humbleness and gratitude, tit is nothing that a human can take credit for. All is given by those who guide the journey of earth and mankind.

The realization of the Divine, the birth of the spirit-child into matter is the biggest miracle humanity can ever behold. A seed of the Divine spirit is planted in a human and this human accepts the child and allows it to grow within its life, within its body. The Child of God is the one that grows in matter and the birth of this child is a Divine event. It is a miracle on earth. This divine conception, the seed that was planted within man is the sign of the covenant between God and man. This covenant of love is created through God’s yearning and love for man and man’s yearning and love for God. This alliance is fulfilled in mutual love.

The growth of the Spirit, the Divine Child, must happen within the protection of human body and mind. In a pure environment the child can grow in power and strength. The human body protects the child and her mind nourishes it. If body and mind do not provide for the child’s demands for nourishment, protection, pure air, peace of mind and tranquillity, the birth will never be completed. Like a mother carrying her child in her womb, man must nurse the spirit that has taken it’s dwelling within. The female principle is in all living as well as is the male. A human that has developed and balanced both these principles can carry this new life regardless of gender.

Matter is the maternal aspect; life on earth is the nursery and crib of the spirit. To become pregnant and carry the Divine offspring is the fate and privilege of the adult. When the Spirit is born into matter the plan of God is realized. The whole meaning of evolution on earth is in this realization. Growth and development of mankind has this goal as its highest meaning and great accomplishment. When a human can carry the child of God, she is finished in her development and ready for the next step in her existence on earth. The growth of the Kingdom of Heaven through the creation of this child is the great mystery.

Mans initiation into the service of the Mystery is taking place when this child is born. The birth of the child through the dense matter is a work that requires transformation of body and soul. The prisoner that is trapped within the body has to be freed, and he cannot emerge through what is not pure and permeable. This transformation takes place in the service of love. Through the great longing of the spirit for its equals it can fight its way forward and along the way he pushes away everything that hampers him.

Man’s love for the person being his sibling, equal and other half is the driving force that can make this work possible. All can happen in a great self-forgiving love. All is possible to obtain in the name of love. The relationship that makes this possible is already established in the moment of creation. One soul is divided into two and those halves are searching for each other in the lives on earth. In the fullness of time the mutual yearning of those souls will lead them forward to the ultimate liberation. In the name of love the final triumph can be obtained.

The struggle to subdue egoism and demands for self-satisfaction can be won by giving up all things personal. If the human can give without demanding something in return, she has reached absolute love. In self-exposure and self-effacement the final goal of reunion with the Universe can be achieved. An earthly love that can be lifted and refined is the stepping-stone out of the own self, out towards the Universe. If love is allowed to grow it will find its way to its origin, but the way is through love for other people.

If one as a human being takes the opportunities one is served to cultivate and develop the ability to love, one has then reached the limit for the individual and taken the step over to universal love. The contact with the Universe, with the Deity is established there, but the way always goes through love to one’s human brothers and sisters. The power to reach outside of the earthly and find heaven is created through joint efforts, but where two or more are gathered together in His name, in love, He will also stand among them.

When the spirit of the humans has grown and given them the ability to feel true love, they can be joined together in a power that enables the receiving of Christ on earth. His promise to return was connected to the fact that humanity had to develop the ability to feel love in such a way that the right conditions to receive the Deity could be created.

Man’s ability to feel true, real and unselfish love is a requirement for the Kingdom of God to be established on earth. To each and everyone who reaches this standpoint the door is open to tread into this bliss, harmony and joy but every man who lives in his own egoism, hatred and separation will automatically be shut out.

Love is the key that opens all doors. It is a God-given gift that facilitates the journey back home for the human children. This gift is implanted within a human being from the very beginning and it is through her journey through all the lives on earth, that she can let love grow to a power that can bring her back to God. “The Kingdom of God is within you” is an old truth. In every man lives the seed to a complete love, and each and everyone has the possibility to let it grow to a creating power.

In the longing for her spiritual partner the person can choose to let love flourish or stifle. By totally denying it to exist it will suffer and suffocate. In satisfying the bodily needs there is no development, no growing. The force has to be gathered and be led in a direction that leads forward. Through giving up one can gain everything. The one who knows the satisfaction of acknowledging all lusts, but yet chooses to abandon the immediate satisfaction, can reach outside of oneself.

If one understands the Divine nature of love, that it is an impersonal power of universal nature, one can start using it in an effective way. The power of the spirit is love and this power can reach across all borders. The final goal for the development of love is to reach across all personal borders and to reach a universal, impersonal, all-embracing love - to become a carrier of the Divine love, of the Divine child. If this love has got a hold and grown strong, it will fight to be reunited to its origin, to God.

When this contact has been established, when the spirit is capable to reach outside human restrictions this human can grow to become a saviour for other humans. In spiritual communion with God and with fellow brothers in different dimensions, man can convey spiritual powers to other people’s growth and healing. This is neither an intellectual thought-process, nor are the powers conveyed through preaching the word, but it is all taking place on a spiritual level. By working as a conveyor or a channel for God’s love, a person will assist in other humans receiving this means of salvation. This is really the wine that is poured into the chalice, the water that flows from the Divine wells.

Love flows out across the Universe, but humans are generally not able to receive it. But through channels that have been designed for this purpose, the power can flow in a more concentrated form. The humans working in this manner have a divine mission. Their own happiness and satisfaction will be great, but they cannot do it for their own personal gain. They work to the best of others, for the completion and union in harmony and love of the Whole. Unselfishness is a condition and everything must be done in the name of the High Beings.

These High Beings work as leaders and Masters for the children of the world. They open the path for the Divine power and direct it through the right channels. The High Beings adjust the strength so that the effect will be the right one. The Divine power is so unimaginably immense that a frail human can only receive it in a very diluted form. Even if the vessel is clean and strong, only a small quantity can be portioned out. But in his weakness, such a person still fulfils his highest mission. No man can reach higher than to be a link between Heaven and the humans on earth. For those who have been chosen for this mission it really is the reward for all the hardships.

To work in co-operation with The High Beings is to work within the great love. No other mission can compete with this, to participate in the work to bring humanity forward. You should not expect gratitude or rewards in the earthly life, but the great reward waits in the next existence. In the relationship with the spiritual brothers, man will, after fulfilling his mission in the earthly existence, find the great love and brotherly community. The spiritual faculties that have been developed on earth will come to their full use there.

John was the apostle that Jesus loved. He was the first to start the pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Master. In his development there was concealed a goal for the best of humanity. He was the one who should carry out the teaching that Jesus Christ had presented. As the first example of a human who followed the Divine example, he lived in incarnation after incarnation. Suffering was the royal road that he treaded, and in the suffering his soul was cleansed. The goal was that he in the following of the Master should develop a love and ability for forgiveness.

This path could not be trod consciously. No, necessary conditions where to live in forgetfulness and without knowledge of direction or goal. Humanity was not yet ready to experience in practice what reincarnation really means. Still, this soul carried knowledge from previous lives with it. Throughout the lives, the main thread of love for God and a struggle for true nearness to the Deity was predominant.

This struggle for truth was used as a path for learning. Through all failures and all sufferings the determination to fight was strengthened and so was the belief in the final victory of justice. The cruelties of the fellow human beings were necessary means used in the work to strengthen this soul. Through experience John learnt that not even one’s life is too great a sacrifice in the struggle for truth. Let this truth enter your hearts, suffering should never be despised. It is the most powerful means to harden and develop a human soul.

6/9

John is the first example of a complete educational programme. He needed many lives to be ready for the time close to the Master and many lives after that to complete his development.

If one believes, that a lifetime is enough to reach perfection, one makes a great mistake. Many incarnations are required for a human soul to grow in wisdom and maturity, for it to learn how to use its body and all its powers. In many incarnations it is the materialistic powers that must be trained, but the spiritual development cannot be neglected either. The goal is that a human finally should be able to stand as a host for the Divine. That he or she should be able to bring forward and give birth to the Son of God in his or her own life and own body.

The divine aspect in man is the spirit that lives in concealment, but one day will penetrate man and take control over all that is earthly and material. In the case of John, this spiritual development had already started when he met the Master. He had been educated for this meeting during his time as king in Egypt.

The Egyptian cult was specially adapted to cultivate the female side of the spirit. It was a cult where Maat, the female power, was honoured above everything else. In the rituals, reconciliation between the female and the male powers was worked out. This equilibrium was so important that it symbolized the prosperity of the whole world. The royal marriages were the outer symbol for this inner fusion. In the royal love, the force was created that gave life and prosperity to all of Egypt. The royal fertility and virility reflected the divine power that gave prosperity in the form of rich harvests and a numerous offspring for both people and animals. The wealth that characterized the empire of Egypt in its days of glory was a reflection of the equilibrium that was established within and between people and between man and the Gods. The Gods were seen as different aspects of the all-embracing primitive force that gave birth to everything through its paternal and maternal power.

What John got from this life, was love for the feminine and an understanding for the dualism in all creation. He made his pilgrimages through the lives in different sexes and circumstances. The complete human being has many aspects and it takes a long time to develop them all.

In the Time of the Master there was a strong development for everyone that came in contact with Him and most of all for those closest to Him. John was one of them, and his feeling of solidarity with the Master was very great. The love that developed between them gave John’s spiritual development a strong impulse to grow.

The Master’s example of self-sacrificing love gave everybody around him immense value. The force-field he developed led strong spiritual impulses to everyone who came in contact with it. During his time on earth he developed a strong and full-grown spirit that out of love was willing to take on the burden of creating an example for all mankind. The sacrifice he made when he allowed the humans to take his life, he did in full conviction that it would show the world that life is eternal.

Through the resurrection he taught the disciples that death is just an illusion, life always goes on. But they also had to learn this lesson in practice. By sacrificing their lives in the struggle for truth, they eventually learned that the truth sooner or later always prevails.

We leading them used the sufferings of John and the other disciples to strengthen their belief and conviction. What the life of the Master taught, they themselves had to live in practice so as to reach perfection in his likeness. Every life has been a step on the way towards this goal and the prerequisites for success was our ability to implant the knowledge about our, and accordingly God’s, existence in their consciousness in such a way that it would not be obliterated between different lives.

Development means building on previous steps, and not until the fundamental truths form an ineffaceable part of a human consciousness one can be lifted up to the next level. The souls gathered around the Master were jointly prepared for their mission, and they also have after this time been living lives where the continuous development has taken place in co-operation between them as a group and with us. This development has always happened in circumstances where the spiritual growth has been stimulated, but it has not necessarily been harmonious.

Spiritual growth is always combined with a battle within man, and this applies also to this small group. The Middle Ages with the big conflicts taking place, was an important time for these souls. During this time of severe persecution and hardships, their willpower was strengthened considerably. During this time John had to fight the battle for the feminine, and even if he temporarily failed, it still was a victory on the spiritual level and in our eyes he grew somewhat through these events.

In every life he searched his way to spiritual circumstances, but his natural feeling for the truth was always in conflict with prevailing dogmas and ideas. If a truth has branded itself on a human soul in an ineffaceable way, it will always rise to the surface in one way or the other in every life. This is why the truth always will triumph. Sooner or later the circumstances are shaped in such a way that what is written in the soul has the possibilities to blossom.

During lives when this is not the case, a necessary development and strengthening of the personality still takes place. However a human that has developed a firm belief and knowledge of the truth, sooner or later will have the opportunity of letting it grow in full freedom. The truth can never be killed, even if one has the people who believe in it killed. The truth exists outside the earthly conditions and will always show itself again.

The Goddess, the feminine aspect of what is essentially one Whole, has been oppressed and pursued for ages. She, who is love, has been hated and her force has been condemned. But everything that has been suppressed will rise in even greater strength and power. The humans’ attempts to obliterate the feminine Deity within and outside themselves have hurt both themselves and the earth. Without balance between masculine and feminine, between strength and love, the world and the humans cannot live and flourish.

The spiritual aspect that basically is love has to have room if the humans should find peace and happiness. In a one-sided emphasis on power and success the deeper spiritual values will be oppressed. In the contempt of strength for what is weak there is also contempt for God and the creation.

When man puts himself in the place of the Creator, discord and misfortune will prevail on earth. In love, humbleness and respect for the power that penetrates and carries all in the Universe, is also love and humbleness for the earth and all that lives on it. Without the mildness and patience of love, egoism and lack of freedom will reign on earth.

The foolishness of man has made them take up arms against their brothers in the name of God. There is nothing more wrong than the harm done in the name of the Supreme Being. In Divine love there is no compulsion, no oppression, never any violence whatsoever. Humans can tear down and destroy, kill and mutilate, but they can never create one single little life out of their own power. God gives all life in love and the life force is a Divine power distributed in the abundant generosity of Divine love. If man takes without giving - the balance is disturbed and various diseases and disorders will be the effect.

A mutual giving and taking is the basis for all life, from the greatest to the smallest. The love of God flows out over the humans, but they have to understand the reciprocity that is inherent in all love to get a full knowledge of it. Where mutuality, equilibrium and harmony prevail inside every man, between humans and between man and the Deity, one has reached a paradisiacal state.

The development of the human being should be understood as him or her leaving paradise when being born out of the eternal existence, and that he or she through the wanderings through the lives on earth one day will have matured enough to get back to this divine existence. We want to describe this history of evolution by revealing the broad outlines of the development of John. It is an immensely long development, from the very first frail consciousness to a full-grown spirit. Life on earth carries and nourishes this spirit to make him able to step forward as a perfect human being in full awareness of his history and his future.

The summit of earthly development is a harvest time when everything that has been laid as a foundation and built up during the lives at last will come to its full use. Jesus Christ illustrated this in one earthly life, from the Holy Spirit begetting his offspring in matter, the mother, to the point when he in his full manhood left matter to become reunited to his origin, the Father. Every human being is designated to walk through the same development but in reality the course is extended over aeons of time. The mission of Christ, at the peak of his earthly development, was to create an illustration or example of the great development and at the same time sow the seed in his collaborators.

Let this sink into your consciousness that every human being lives his lives on earth in the imitation of Christ. His way is the way of all human beings. His sufferings and his victory is the lot of all humans. At the end of the course of his lives every one will be initiated into his new life in the same way as he was.

John, or the current incarnation of his spirit, has wandered the course of his lives to its end. He has reached the stage in his development where all the old has to be left in order to let the new life begin. The final struggle for purification is fought to the end and all that waits is the final service he can do for his fellow-beings. By making his own life an example in the following of his Master, he is sacrificing his own for the sake of the great Whole. The sacrifice can seem small to those who know about the reward that waits, but one should be aware that it has been made without knowledge of the great context, without knowledge of what is in the great plan.

To sacrifice everything for God is a big step, but it was made possible from the strength and assured faith that have been created through the lives in matter. And all the glory is God’s and the High Masters’ who have led the struggle in His name. The followers of Christ will show themselves on earth, and He is the one who in all times has led the struggle.

The Joyful News

The joyful news once preached on earth will once again sound over humanity. Love is the greatest thing and the conquerors will fight in Her name. She will once again show herself on earth, and in Her name joy and happiness will spread among the children on earth.

The Son of God who was begotten in Divine love will step forward as a dignified representative of his Divine parents. The power that brings forth all life will be manifested in all its strength and splendour. Nobody who is going to meet it will hesitate as to the Divine origin. He is always born on earth as a little child, but as a grown man the spirit of God will reign over the human being.

In the joy and love that the reunion between God and man forms, great wonders will take place. The festival of rejoicing now beginning will exceed everything that has happened earlier. At last Christ will be able to meet his disciples again. All love and all longing will receive its reward. Those who have been waiting so long for their Master will eventually be reunited to him. The time of the great return is here at last. Heaven will establish its Kingdom on earth. In the Kingdom of the Spirit, all who love each other will be reunited in the name of the great, wonderful love. All who have been separated will at last meet again and the wedding celebration will be held in the greatest rejoicing, fun and merriment.

Receive the joyful news; He lives who always lived and He will step forward on earth once again. Messiah, the messenger of love has conquered once again and his love will spread all over the countries of the earth. The truth has finally conquered and the gateways of Heaven are now open. Each and everyone are invited to step into the Temple that has been erected on earth in the honour of God. She who is the incarnation of the Goddess of Love will invite you to step in and the disciples of the Master will meet you there.

This is a unique event in the history of mankind and the one who has fought the battle and won, will also be rewarded. The first who have fulfilled all that life demands from them, will in a short time, graduate from the school of life. Their reward will be to meet those who love them over everything else, those who have watched over them and guided them with the utmost love through all grades of the school. The great reward, to be allowed to return to one’s original parents, to one’s true home excels everything. So, walk in the peace of God in this conviction. Amen.
